[Becca's been putzing with her PDA, so when she opens the door to Shion's room, it's already on, at a weird angle, but her voice is clear.]

Hey Shion, so what are you pla--

...Shion?

[The PDA clatters to the floor and lands at an angle, propped up against the wall. It shows an empty room and Becca on her knees, holding an upgrade ring and a memory charm. The video cuts out as she bursts into sobs.]

[She winds up getting distracted from their conversation by cake and getting chewed out for threatening to burn down the school. Eventually she slinks back to her dorm, though, and finally messages Alex back.]

So are you coming over soon?

Y-yeah, I think I-I've d-done enough here... I-I'm apparently n-not good at b-baking.

[pencilpremonition]

I'll help you practice and get good at it, if you want. Or we can just hide in my room for the rest of today.

[afraid_of_my_shadow]

I-it's okay, we c-can just ch-chill. I d-don't think I-I'm m-meant ta c-cook.

[pencilpremonition]

I'll cook for you every day instead.

That'd p-pro'lly be great!

I-I'm pretty sure I still d-don't eat right...

[She'll be waiting for him.]

[He's there in about 15 minutes, taking a stop in his room to change his flour-covered shirt.]

[pencilpremonition]

[As soon as he arrives at her room, she offers him her arms, hoping he's up for a hug.]

[afraid_of_my_shadow]

[He accepts, holding her gently and lightly kissing her forehead.]

[pencilpremonition]

[She nuzzles into him, squeezing him a bit tighter at the kiss. It's more than she dared hope for, but it feels really nice.]

[afraid_of_my_shadow]

[He holds her for another moment before stepping into the room so he's not just standing in the doorway.] E-enjoy your c-cake?

[pencilpremonition]

[She shuts the door behind him and sighs.]

Not really. But you might cheer me up more.

[afraid_of_my_shadow]

[Alex smiles] I h-hope! I w-wish I had s-some c-cards, th-those always c-can be fun!

[pencilpremonition]

No, just come here.

[She retreats over to her bed and sits down.]

We're not gonna do anything. So don't...don't get ideas or freak out, either of 'em.

[Alex just smiles and follows her, sitting beside her.] I-I'll try not!

[pencilpremonition]

[She kicks her shoes off and wraps an arm around Alex's waist.]

[afraid_of_my_shadow]

[Alex has started to become a lot more comfortable with her and doesn't even seem to mind that. He just puts his arm around her too.]

[She leans back, laying on the bed and trying to tug him with her.]
