Summary: Cirno is going to find out what just happened

Cirno was just stareing at her PDA. She had come over to the lake as usual to think over the past round. It was her usual spot if she didn't have anything to do and the waters let her mind wander a bit more then she would usualy. That message had her confused as did the sender.

As she was stareing, That's when the penalty hit and she went down on the ground to curl up in a ball. She felt that at least this way, no one could see that this hurt her, even if she was alone. She kept that way for a while, at least ten minutes past the ending of it, nto sure if that was it or not.

As she sat up once more and reached for the blank PDA she spoke to herself mostly, "Tame ni sono nandatta no... ? Dareka ga futatabi orokana nanika o shinakatta..." 1

She looked about and frowned, "To watashi wa densha no naka de kare o mimasendeshita. ... Shin Kotaro ga modotte teniireta... Nani ga okotte iru nodeshou ka?"2

She's going to be there a while trying to figure out what is going on...

Cirno nodded quickly at the question, "Hai! Penaruti! Kotaro Hōmu." She was trying to get some words across, even if she might not understand what they might mean. At least some of it was understood, or so she hoped. "Watashi wa mina ga rikai suru koto ga dekiru to iu misu..."

((I miss being able to understand everyone...))

The latter sentence was too much gibberish and not enough words pirated from English, so Becca just shook her head and sighed. She took her PDA back to put back in her bag, not sure what else to do. "Cirno," she said again, shifting to take the other girl's hands in hers. "Cirno, Becca promise," she insisted, hoping it would be one of those words that was guessable. Then she bowed slightly, and pressed a kiss to one of Cirno's hands.

She didn't understand but she trusted Becca so she nodded. Cirno gripped Becca's hands a bit tighter. She closed her eyes a takes and deep breath, trying to calm herself down. This whole situation was no help and she needed to calm down. Getting upset at this point was a bad idea. Her grip tightens a bit more but not enough to hurt as she opens her eyes again and gives a tentative smile.

Becca smiled back at Cirno, and though her eyes showed clear fear in them, Becca was refusing to give in to it. She had to be strong, had to be strong for Cirno.

Maybe teaching her a bit of English would help them calm down.

"Becca," she began, gesturing at herself. She knew Cirno knew that, obviously, but it was a starting reference for a harder word. "Cirno," she said next, shifting her hand to indicate the other girl. "Becca. Cirno," she repeated a few times, faster and faster, until she was practically just waving her hand back and forth between the two of them. Finally, she inserted a different word and dropped her hand. "Friends."

"Friends," she repeated, then pointed at Cirno. "Cirno Friend Becca." Then she pointed at herself. "Becca Friend Cirno." Now...would Cirno understand and guess the word's meaning?

Cirno thought about the meaning that was being shown and the word itself. There was a long pause as she bit her lip, working through it. Learning was not her strong suite but it was usually the fact that it bored her was why she failed. It took her long enough to respond that one might think she really was not catching on.

"..Fr...ie...nds? Furenzu?"

She sounded it out and thought about it for a moment longer and smiled, nodding. The words sounded alike..Maybe they meant the same? Her smile widened as she nodded again, "Friends...Furenzu! Cirno Furenzu Becca." She looked hopeful that she understood it, determination had replaced most of the fear in her eyes and she was trying to work hard to make the fear she saw in Becca's eyes disappear. "Tsuyokunaru" She made her self look like one of the strong men to try and show what she meant with the word that might mean nothing.

Becca copied the muscular pose, giggling a bit. "Soo-yo-koo-na-roo," she repeated. Something to do with strength. "Strongest," she offered. Then she dropped the pose to offer her arms to Cirno again.

Cirno nodded and giggled a little bit. Even if they could not understand each other for the most part, this was kinda fun! Although she did hope that whatever had happened would be fixed soon enough. She quickly hugged Becca again, still smiling, Hugs were universal!
