Or possibly she's just sitting around somewhere drawing in her notebook with an air of 'come talk to me' about her. Or perhaps you have a better idea for how to get her talking to your character. Just come bother her.]

[Merlin was returning from the library, he had been researching different forms of healing since it had become obvious that the healing he knew was considered old fashioned to most of his students.

He saw one of his students on his way back and walked over.] Good morning Becca.

Hey. Whatcha got there?

Just some books... I wanted to learn more about healing if I am supposed to teach it. [He smiles at her again, perhaps teachers weren't supposed to admit to their students they didn't know what they were doing, but Merlin was new at this.]

Yeah, you're kind of out of date. This school is ridiculous. Gotta manage though, right?

Completely ridiculous, as if making us forget important things wasn't enough...

[Shion hadn't seen much of Becca, he wasn't avoiding her because that would be cruel but he still didn't know what to feel about her. She had been so upset according to Alex when he had disappeared, something Shion didn't remember.

She was in his memory, the one Alex had given him and he had been meaning to talk to her. But he had avoided her the week before, as he had avoided everyone because of Asagi making him wear a skirt. This week Asagi was being nicer.

Of course that didn't prevent Shion from having an armful of laundry none of which was his as he walked into the common room of Black Dorm.]

[Becca was walking through the dorm she'd spent the first part of her schooling at. It was a simple errand--make sure no one was up to anything. But it was the first time she'd seen Shion in ages.]

Shion?

[Shion peaked round the pile of laundry he had and grinned.] Hello Becca, how are you?

I'm all right. How...how are you? Did you look at that memory?

[savedbyasong]

I did... [Shion gave a small smile remembering the lake side, their bottles floating off, standing hand in hand.] Thank you for giving it to me.

[Alex decided to give Becca a bit of a surprise. The shock of his returned memory had faded, and his heart still leaped when he saw Becca. Of course, when he sees her absorbed in her drawing, he smiled as a feeling of warmth washed over him.

He walks up behind his girlfriend and pulled her hair behind her ear before slipping his arms over her shoulders in a loose hug while resting his chin so that their cheeks touched on the side of her face where he just pulled back her hair.]

[She jumped a bit at being startled, but soon relaxed into him and nuzzled into his touch, purring softly.]

Mm. Hey, you. How are you?

[She turned her head, kissing his cheek gently.]

[Jumping between them seemed to be standard for whoever wasn't the one initiating the touch, so he didn't let it bother him. Instead he just nuzzled back. His stomach still churned at even that small kiss, but he did his best to keep smiling and ignore it. He knew what it meant, and appreciated that at least.]

I'm good. Trying not to stress too much about fighting...still really down that I didn't get Shion...

[Ah, it was really distracting being so close to her. Even with all of his issues, he was still a guy, and still was attracted to Becca. He swallows a bit as he pulls away, making sure there was nothing embarrassing showing before sitting next to her with his arm around her back.]

Shion... It's o-only a week. M-maybe you c-can win him!

Maybe I will. Not till I can get a second weapon, though. I'm not risking you.

[Fortitude's Rowing class is not like other classes. One student is called up and everyone else has - more-or-less a free period.

And of course today happened to be Becca's turn! They are out in the lake on a boat, just the two of them.]

[Becca is already tired and failing miserably at this.]

Oh my god I have like...no upper arm strength whatsoever...

Wow, no kidding. I guess it makes using weapons difficult sometimes, huh?

I've only been a player twice, and weapons weren't exactly important where I came from.

I get that. Everyone where I'm from can use magic, so there aren't a lot of people that use weapons. I'm pretty sure I only know three, and that's counting myself.

Nobody does anything special where I'm from. But nobody really fights, either.
