In the time since he'd arrived here, Apollo had started to slowly adjust to life in Rakuen. Suddenly being expected to teach a class was one of the hardest parts, and he still didn't have anything like real lessons or even a real plan for them. So far he'd been lecturing on whatever he thought was relevant, taking it a few days at a time until he could get a better handle on it. It was almost, almost enough to make him miss how slow work had been at the Wright Anything Agency, but on the other hand a daily pay check was awfully nice, even if it was in the strange currency here.
So Apollo was spending most of his time either in his classroom or in his dorm, venturing out for walks occasionally to help him get his bearings. That it was so similar to a normal college town made it a little easier, though the incongruous parts of it like the arena helped remind him of exactly why he didn't want to be here. At least he couldn't complain about the free rent.
I'm really sorry these tags are so late ;;
Day... that was the headmistress! Eyes widening, Apollo leaned towards the window, barely holding himself back from more questions. They'd be rhetorical ones, anyway. "Yeah, thanks," he said as the intruder climbed out of the window, with an agility that even made Apollo a little envious. But he had bigger things to think about now than how disturbingly skilled that guy had been at climbing through windows. Punishments for losing sounded ridiculous, but given the idea that they'd apply random punishments for breaking the rules as well ... it worried him, on a few different levels.
Apollo cast a glance over at Naesala, but seeing that his roommate had already gone back to sleep, he didn't even try to talk to him. He'd provided absolutely zero backup, and this time Apollo couldn't manage to talk himself into a reason to be more charitable about it. Maybe on the laguz's crazy magic world it was common for strangers to hop through your windows, but right here and right now, he didn't appreciate the lack of help.
"Well, goodnight," Apollo muttered anyway, flopping back down onto his bed to attempt to go back to sleep.
