Disorientation wasn't really something new to Nunnally, though the introduction video had been very informative and clear on what was going on. Why it was going on was another matter entirely, and she was just a little confused and worried. What... was she going to do now? There was no one around that she knew, even if she's seen some familiar names on the player list, or so she thought. Actually, at the moment, there wasn't a soul in sight at all, and it was slightly off putting, after the very cheery video.

...it didn't help much that most entrances to the buildings had stairs, so she was pretty much stuck outside. Sitting in a wheelchair was never convenient.

"Oh... what should I do now? I don't even know where to go."

[ooc: prose entry but I'm going with either prose or action in tags o7]

Well, that didn't go as well as she expected. She was too late to find an owner, which means she couldn't really learn that much more about the world, and she couldn't even spend her time at the gym. Well, it's not like the courtyard was trash, right? She could just get her evening workout done there, and deal with finding an owner during the classes.

In the meantime, the sight of a woman doing push ups against a curb doesn't really add to the otherwise calm scenery. Some may admire her massive strength, among other things, while others may be disguised by the fact that she's sweating all over the nearby flower bed. Either way, she seems to notice you despite how engrossed in her workout she is.

"Hey, you got a second?"

Dave Strider vs. Gino Weinberg

Weapons: Sherlock Holmes, Kevin Smith

[it's about time they got all of this started, Gino thinks. He hasn't read much of the manual yet, and it's been quite a while since he's fought out of a Knightmare's cockpit, so the prospect of losing is quite blatantly there, hovering around. He hasn't said anything, half from pure competitive spirit and half because Kevin would throw some kind of teenage hissy fit if Gino admitted he was okay with losing him in battle for the sake of experiment and fun.

besides, it's still going to be a chance to have a mock fight without the possibility of actually killing his short, shades-sporting roommate. If he ignores the situation, it's almost like a friendly duel rather than a part of a bigger, inexplicable game.]

Got any advice for me? [he grins at Kevin, again. It's practically habit. And the guy's probably read more of the manual.]

Dinner was a noisy affair even with so few students, as people mingled amongst those they'd met already or discovered old friends they hadn't had the chance to meet already. The general furor with the chocolate fudge cake had claimed at least an hour, too. Sora had been bouncing from table to table, as she went to talk to someone, then returned to her table, then back to someone else she'd spotted, and so on. Now it was Suzaku's turn. She'd felt bad about her attack the moment the situation had been explained, but the penalty had removed most of her ability to focus on that for long enough that she felt he deserved a proper apology, Knight to Knight.

She'd located him fairly early into dinner, but he'd been deep in conversation with some of the others. Now they'd all gone to get dessert or talk to other people, and she seized her chance. With a smile to her friends, she indicated where she was headed, and slid into the seat opposite the other Knight.

"Suzaku? Um, about this afternoon. I should really apologise..."

This place was strange. Far too strange. No matter how much she thought about it, she couldn't come to any conclusions as to what was going on. And she hated that feeling. Right now what she needed more than anything else was information, but she had no idea how to obtain it. The methods she employed back home wouldn't work here; no, for some reason she couldn't even account for where a great deal of that information had come from, or even what it was.

She was a bit late, it seemed, which worked to her disadvantage. She might have been able to find out something important if she'd arrived earlier, but she doubted anyone had discovered anything crucial yet. She had watched the introduction video intently, absorbing and committing every word to memory. But she learned nothing particularly useful or new. Exaclan. Whatever this place was, it used the same system, but lacked the same purpose. Girls could be Players here too. Then what could possibly be the aim of the game here? She frowned, as she couldn't help but think she was forgetting something important about the nature of the game back home, but could only draw blanks as to what that was. How frustrating.

For the time being, she simply sat outside on a bench, reading a book quietly to herself. Answers would probably come with time, even though that was hardly a satisfying way of looking at things. But for now waiting and watching was all she could do.

Ah, yes, of course, there was one other thing; she would need to find an owner eventually. That would have to be here highest priority for now. Being unable to access various facilities was unacceptable to her, especially given their potential use in obtaining information. She could care less about the the recreational facilities, but the libraries and computer labs were a must.

...access to dessert would be nice too, but wasn't a particularly high priority.

And so with that conclusion reached, she slowly closed her book and glanced around the courtyard, for anyone that could be of use. For the time being it hardly mattered who she chose as her owner; one person was as good as any other. Of course, she had an ideal choice as far as Players was concerned, but that wasn't an option for the time being. In fact, perhaps that was for the best for now anyway.

Kallen wanted to go back to the dorm right after class. Problem was she hadn't eaten all day. She was on edge, watching someone's actions. It was like nothing from the Academy changed, except their setting arrangement. There was no way Lelouch could be alive, but she found herself in class, staring at him in disbelief. She was glad none of the teachers called on him because if she heard his voice... well Kallen had no idea what she would actually do.

She stopped by the dining hall. It was late (considering most people weren't going to dinner at this time) so thankfully there weren't many people. So she ordered some food, picked it up, and made her way to an empty table. She could block out the idle chatter so she could get some studying in. Sandwich in hand, she nibbled on it while rereading her notes.

{Feel free to come bother her. Prose, action, choose and I'll reply back to you in the same format}

{edit; because I'm the most awesome person in the world. RETCON! I forgot Kallen doesn't know how to eat a sandwich, but she's noming it up in here. Sandwich is now beautiful diamonds fries or something.}

[Usually when Tougyu wakes up early, it's in a pool of his own sweat with a jaw so sore he can't even chew breakfast right. That's what the nightmares do to him.

Today, not only does he wake up early but he feels... rested. Calm. Wrong. As his lips curl into a wide frown, Tougyu shifts a little beneath the covers, wondering why this is and freezes when his legs encounter another pair. A soft, slender, decidedly effeminate pair. Only then does he become aware of another presence in his bed. A very close presence being that this is a single bed.

With a start, he shoots up in bed and throws back the sheets, ready to kick his intruder face first onto the floor. This plan is halted, however, when he spots a familiar mass of red hair and an equally familiar face. At the realization that it's only Himoto Sora, bane of the student council, Tougyu relaxes minutely and frowns at the redhead, irate. It's only after a moment of staring at her with a frown that he realizes something.

Himoto Sora is wearing a bra. With a frown, Tougyu reaches forward, fully intending to remove it due to the fact that men should not wear women's underwear, (and who knew Sora was a pervert?) only to pause when his palm encounters the soft, tender flesh of...

No.

No way.

Not-
he gingerly touches it once more with his fingertip, as if to reaffirm what he felt. Then a last time just to be sure. Then, after a long moment of staring, Tougyu withdraws his hand and lets it rest on his lap.]

... girl?
