Format: Anything is fine :D
This log is: open
Location: Dining Hall
Summary: C.C. recruits Weapons?
Warnings: None at the moment
Dining communally like this was ridiculous enough as it was. But did this school really not have pizza?
Staring at the unappetizing food on her plate which was certainly not pizza-like in the slightest, C.C. sighed and poked at it with her spoon. What was it even? Actually, she didn't care. Even Kallen's curry was better than this.
Standing up, she decided enough was enough, and raised her voice to address anyone who happened to be present. "If you can cook a halfway decent pizza for me, I'll be your Player," she announced to the masses. But it better be good.

When she heard C.C.'s voice raise and the request for pizza, Cécile perked. And then perked a little more. Here was the chance she'd been waiting for! She'd be able to cook something absolutely delicious.
Her hand shot into the air before she even fully thought about it. "I'll make you one!" she said, voice cheerful. What could go wrong?
no subject
But how fortunate this was. That took far less effort than she had expected.

"Oh, of course!" she responded. "I love cooking. I made snacks for Lloyd and Suzaku all the time, when we were all working together." She missed those days, sometimes, but-- well. At least they were both here again!
no subject
"Is that so? That will work perfectly then." What was it she had to say? Just a vow of protection? That would be simple enough. "In exchange for my protection, you shall be my Weapon and grant my wish. Do you accept this contract?"
no subject
It was a pity she still couldn't remember how to turn one on. You had... a key... and then you...? Assumedly, you plugged it in somewhere, but she couldn't for the life of her remember where!
"Do you have any favorite flavours?" Cécile asked. She'd hate to use something C.C. didn't like.
no subject
"Anything is fine, so long as the tastes blend." But nonetheless, she listed off a few of her more recent orders from Pizza Hut: "Crab & Shrimp Mayo King. Potato Mayo Gratin. Milk Seafood. Camembert Deluxe. Idaho Special. Something like those would be fine."
no subject
"I'll do my best, then!" she said, cheerfully. "I'll start just as soon as I--" finish eating, she almost said, casting a look at her plate. "I'll go ahead and start right now!" If she could get away with it. She'd be able to prepare something considerably more delicious for herself, after all.

"Why not just make it yourself?" Enki looked up from where he was demolishing a peach, thoroughly frustrated. When was he going to stop finding memories he'd... well, forgotten? Peaches, too!
no subject
It's not the truth, of course, though it's an easy suggestion to make, what with having been outright told that she's forgotten things. But having other people cook for her was far more convenient than doing that work herself.
no subject
"Why not just ask them?" He doesn't see anything strange in this; food has, after all, always been provided, one way or another. "And what sort of offer is having them cook for you while you're their... Player?" He cannot say that straight. The meaning behind the otherwise so innocent word stick in his throat.

"Unless, of course, they want to be treated like second-class citizens," she added.
no subject
"Sorry, but... In a feudal setup, there'll always be 'second class citizens'... And I think it would be the repsonsibility of those privileged to not abuse said privilege," Enki said, feeling bile rise up again. He hadn't really thought of it, but this was basically asking a few of the people here (however temporary) to act as kings of their 'subjects'... except here they were expected to fight with them. These were lives they were having fun with, people, not things!
"And what sort of protection is inflicting pain on them, anyway?" He was not angry at this woman, but the situation, those in charge, but there was nothing to do.
no subject
"Ask them that," came her response as she turned away. "But I doubt they'll listen to you if you don't play their 'game'. Unless you're content to sit around this place forever, that is."
no subject
He was also certainly not gonna offer to be her Weapon, both due to the fact that it would end badly, and because... However superficial this vow was of Players owning Weapons, the idea raised his hackles. He had one master, one king, being absolutely his (even here) and that trancended all else.

"CC," he said as he approached her and stood by her table.
no subject
"Hey, Suzaku," she responded aloofly. "Do you know how to cook pizzas, as well?"

*hammers into continuity*
pfft continuity!

"Lelouch, the emperor, your friend, black hair purple eyes." He waited for CC to realise who he was talking about.

Anyways Lelouch was the emperor, he was the emperor and Suzaku was his knight. Zero couldn't be the emperor unless...
The pieces clicked together in Suzaku's head and his eyes widened, he stumbled backwards. "No... It can’t be true... Lelouch is..."
His eyes glazed over and he blinked confused, looked around at CC. "Sorry... What were we talking about?" He gave an apologetic smile, he had completely zoned out, "something about Cecile wasn't it?"
no subject
"Nothing important," she responded. "She's my Weapon now. I suppose I'll have to take part in this charade one way or another." What a pain, penalties for not taking part as a Player...

"Those other Knights of the Round are here though," C.C. added. Gino was pretty hard to miss sticking out above the masses like a giraffe, and she'd run into Anya earlier in the day. "What's the situation with them?"
no subject
"Anya... I haven't seen her yet..." He had heard that she was here though.
no subject
"Hey...The notice board says we're roomies now." She said after hurriedly swallowing.
no subject
"Is that so? I hope you don't snore."

"Aren't there any places that deliver to here?"
Her last school had had great food, if a little heavy on the ornamentation and light on the actual portions.
der, I forgot to submit this.
"Besides, they don't seem to have any phones here, now do they?" she added. "I doubt we'll have any contact with the rest of the world from here."
