round 3 day 5, early afternoon
Characters:Sherlock keeps playing the same song over and over again.
Format: prose preferred, action accepted!
This log is: open
Location: an unused classroom somewhere
Summary: Sherry plays the violin. Again. He's not doing so well lately.
Warnings: none at time of posting
He plays it through once, and then stops because it is a ridiculously maudlin choice of tune; after a few minutes of trying to come up with something else and failing because it is so thoroughly stuck in his head, he goes back to it for lack of other options. Rinse, repeat. This has been going on for at least half an hour.
There is a blanket on the floor of the empty classroom he has chosen for this activity, but he found that even with no one there, he couldn't sleep. Perhaps because it's shortly after noon.
Every window in the room that can be opened has been; it's not raining now, but it was when he started playing, and he likes the sound. Sherlock and his violin are sitting by one of them, across from the open door.

"Why do you want quiet?" It was more bold then he usually was, but mister Sherlock was one of those strange adults who was usually happy enough to answer his questions, and anyways Romeo was still on the other side of the window, if Sherlock got very angry Romeo would be able to run quicker than Sherlock could get up and get out the room to chase him.

"Originally I was trying to sleep."

Romeo decided that something was wrong and Sherlock needed his help, so he clambered happily through the window. "Did you not sleep last night sir?" He asked once he was safely on the floor in front of Sherlock.

Sherlock is starting to forget why being evasive about this seemed like such a good idea.

"But Doctor Casella says that the longer you wait the less chance doctors have of being able to make you better, so you should go to the infirmary!" Because otherwise he might die and Romeo didn't want him to die!

He shrugs slightly.
"I cannot sleep if there is anyone else in the room."

Quiet, perhaps even defeated: "No."

"Yes, I think perhaps I was."

"Alright then! I can help you sleep!" He hurried over to the windows and pushed them closed, checking they were all properly closed and couldn't be opened. He then pulled the curtains across making the room dark.
"See no one can look in, and I'll sit outside and make sure no one can come into the room!"
He skipped to the door and turned back to look at Sherlock and raised his fist to his heart, "Here is my vow that I wont let anybody enter, nor shall I come in until you wake! So now you can sleep!"

He opens his mouth.
He closes his mouth.
"—The answer to the riddle is a hug," he says first.
Second: "And thank you. Very much. Shall we go after I have had a nap?"

Because as happy as he was that Sherlock had solved the riddle his friend needed sleep first. With another grin Romeo skipped outside the door and closed it sitting in front so that no body would be able to get in.
