[Kanaya is wandering around the school grounds, wearing her new uniform. This place was so different from Alternia, and although she's seen Earth before, it's only been from behind a computer screen. The sun was different here and she wondered if the other trolls would enjoy it's rays. On the other hand, she didn't want them to experience it, that would be taking them away from their important mission.]

[She didn't sleep last night, or even spend last night in her dorm. Instead she spent the night reading the rulebook, it wasn't nearly as wordy as Rose's gameFAQ and she got through it easily. If she could collect 5 weapons she'd win the round, but besides memories and upgrades there didn't seem to be much gained for winning. No discernible way to get back.]

[For now she's just trying to familiar herself with her new surroundings, perhaps collect a few weapons along the way]

Yes! Okay? Yes. Oh, how I will be your weapon, Miss Maryam! I will be the best weapon you will ever fucking wield and I will bring you all the riches and whatever the hell serves as sweet loots here.

Then I promise to protect and serve you. [Which, admittingly, may be one of the oddest things Kanaya has said to Vriska, but it's part of the rules. She has to say something along those lines to bind the weapon to her]

If we, if I can gather four additional weapons then we, I win the game. [What's with this we stuff? They weren't exactly partners as much as Kanaya had to use her.]

[Yeah, that was pretty-- Yeah. Hmm. Well, okay! Moving on!

Vriska fidgets a little, half expecting some lights or tingling feelings or something flashy to happen, but alas, nothing of great consequence seems to happening! Which is weird, and quite frankly a little disappointing. Maybe this game was all just a big joke!]

Bluh bluh, right right. Big deal! You can totally get all the weapons. All of them. Well, okay, four of them.

Once all the other losers see that you're with me as your primary weapon, they'll just be begging to join our team!

[So long as they recognize that she's the best, that is.] Do we have a team name? We should totally have one! That way, people will know to fear us! I mean, join us. Both things.

[Kanaya was expecting to feel something as well. Maybe some kind of burden on her chest or something to remind her of this pact, but there was nothing really.]

I wonder what winning the round before the round officially ends entails exactly. Does it end and alliances broken, or do they keep going?

Don't you think that since our appearances differ from what is considered normal here that two of us may cause more of a wedge between Trolls and humans?

[Team names? I guess they can't just be the red team or the blue team huh? but this is her team.] Team Kanaya. [So original! ~~So much better than Team Edward or Team Jacob. Sign me up for Team Kanaya~~]

[Vriska seriously thought nothing of it as they went forward with their pact, shrugging it off like nobody's business. So far, all this was just a matter of speaking words and being silly. This place sure was weird!]

I guess we'll find out, won't we? [Vriska straightens her posture, baring her fangs in a confident sneer.] I'll help you-- us-- win this round, don't you worry!

And I wouldn't worry about the humans! They seem perfectly harmless and as friendly as the other ones we started trolling! Which is only good for us!

[And with that, she'll move both hands to her hips and laugh a little.] Team Kanaya it is! It's a little exclusive to what I bring to the table, but-- eh! You're the player here.

[If this were any other time, Kanaya might think twice about the fact she just bound Vriska to her. That would seems oddly red to her!]

I believe that only the Player earns the title of winner. Weapons only aid in the success.

[Kanaya doesn't say much more about the humans. They seemed... 'special' to say the least.]

Is it not my team? Your weapon is rendered useless without my Player status.

[Luckily for you, Vriska's in it for getting this shit done!]

Oh, come on. If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't be able to win in the first place!

[By extension, we're all winners here! ...There is a very distinct reason Vriska doesn't say this out loud.]

God, someone already has a superiority complex!

I could easily acquire another weapon to serve the same purpose as you are serving now. [Though she knows you and that's makes a difference. In a weird sense Vriska is the only one she knows she can trust, purely for the fact they're both Trolls. Even if trusting Vriska is an absurd idea sometimes.] This is my team.

[Damn you and your logic, Kanaya! Grr!]

Yeah, but you didn't! You chose me first, so now you have to deal with it!

[She's frowning, but her confident tone has yet to change.] You're going to have to deal with only winning and being an unbeatable presence here because I sure as hell ain't going to let you fail!

[If there's something Kanaya is good at, it's logic!]

Just because you are the first weapon I chose, does not mean I am required to use you once I acquire a second weapon. And you will help me find a second as you take pleasure in winning.

[And being bad ass. Secretly. Subtly. Which she should ask you about later, now that she thinks of it.

...Or right now. Damn, Kanaya! Giving orders like that!]

Heh. It's nice to see you pulling out all the stops when it comes to getting shit done. I forget how ruthless you can be when you're really pushed.

[It was very hesitant, but there is now a slight grin creeping across her face.]

Does that mean you're as excited as I am to slice through the competition?

[Guess who's not surprised you forgot something about her? If you guessed Kanaya, you'd be correct!]

You do not know everything about me, Vriska. If another of us were here, they would serve as my weapon as well. [Hear that Vriska? You're not that special]

I am looking forward to participating, yes.

[Well, in her defense, she was momentarily stunned by you punching her in the snout to establish superiority. Yeah, just kind of riding on that wave for a while.]

Aww! And then we really could be a team, just as planned before everything went to shit!

[There's a snerk at that, Vriska a bit happy for her facetious nature to back her up when things were starting to get tense.]

You mean you look forward to winning!

[Always have to emphasize the prize, man!]

[You know, if she lost then she wouldn't have to deal with you. It's a good thing she likes you. As friends of course! Nothing red about it. Moving on now.]

Nothing could be done if I lost you, your weapon that is. What is your weapon in it's basic shape Vriska? Without upgrades it may be rendered useless.

[Yes. Let's do that.]

Tch, you know how I roll, Kanaya! I have my Octet on me, and it's just as badass as before! There aren't as many combinations to deal with, but the attacks are effective enough to do some good damage!

I wouldn't stand it if I was stuck with a useless weapon. Come on, now!

[Ouch, guess who's useless without her primary upgrade. This just seems like another reason Kanaya isn't good enough for Vriska]

Enough damage to knock out your foe before they attack me? Your octet while a good offensive weapon leaves much to be desired on the defensive front. [There is a small pause] Not that I require protecting.

[Well, then. You're lucky you got her! Man, you just have all the luck, don't you, Kanaya?]

We could always try it out, you know! But as far as I know, there are a lot of status-inducing combinations you could roll with if it lands that way. Just stun your enemy into a stupor and engage in subsequent owning!

[And another scoff.] If you say so!

[Oh yes, lucky is always on her side]

Perhaps you have some use after all. Finding an opponent may best suit our needs at this point. Then we can witness your weapon in action.

At what point have I proven that I need protecting?

[Damn straight! Or-- you know.]

Then I guess maybe that is for the best! I have confidence that we can take anyone that comes our way, so let's find ourselves someone to beat down already! I'm ready when you are!

[Heh.] Haha, what? Never! Never.

I believe there is a computer on which we are allowed to post challenges on. That could bring on potential matches if you are so confident that we will come out victorious.
