Meet and Greet [Intro #2]

You are brought to your campus and shown to your dorm rooms before you are given permission to wander the campus and the town. Meaning Fortitude students can mingle with Conquest students, they can go visit the shop (shop post will be up later today), or speak to the headmistresses and mayor. Each student now has the Exaclan manuals, a uniform, a school bag with either a shield or a sword on it, and the glove used to pull weapons.

But make sure to come to the battle area later to see the exhibition match! 

Take advantage of the free day, the freedom won't last long. Sooner rather than the later the round will start, Players will be named, Weapons will lose their privileges, and the battles will begin. So you might as well go out and make friend or start rivalries, anything to help you along later in the round.

[Marik is pretty much wandering everywhere in the town without a care in the world, since he's awe-struck by just about everything, whilst taking care not to bump into people as he rushes by. Or at least, he tries to.]

Wow, this is fantastic! If only big brother and sister were here to see this too...

[One of the people he bumps into falls down to the ground with a soft cry of surprise. Becca is just that easy to knock over. She starts to get up again, dusting herself off and trying not to wince too hard.]

[WHOOPS, WAY TO GO, MARIK ISH-DERP. Brb, coming over to extend a hand to help her up.]

Sorry, sorry! Are you all right, miss?

[drawsdeath]

Yeah, I'm fine.

[She takes his hand and pulls herself up. She's surprisingly light.]

I guess you've never been to a city before?

[babygotback]

Hm? Ah, actually, I have! It's just that I was taken in by the excitement of being in a new place, s'all.

[drawsdeath]

[She stares at him a bit.]

This place isn't all that special. You must be easily impressed.

[babygotback]

Heh, well...

[He rubs the back of his head sheepishly]

I never got to travel a lot, so being in a new and unfamiliar place is wonderful! I'm betting the culture here is awesome, too.

[drawsdeath]

I wouldn't know about culture. It looks like any old city to me.

[She shrugs idly. She's a pretty disparaging person, apparently.]

I never travelled much, either. Never left the city I was born in.

[babygotback]

Eh, really now?

[A brow raise.]

Weren't you even a little curious of wondering what the outside world was like?

[drawsdeath]

No. I've seen it on TV and the world outside of my city is just like the world inside it. Full of suck.

[babygotback]

...uh, wow. That's...kind of...odd.

[drawsdeath]

...How is that odd?

[herplaceinthesun]

[And Aisha's just wondering why he looks so happy. But she's kind of bored so she calls out to him.]

Hey, you! We're in the same school, right?

[babygotback]

[He stops in his tracks as he perks up and turns to her, smiling all the while.]

Yeah! Pretty obvious, huh? [Holding out a hand to shake.] I'm Marik Ishtar. Who're you?

Aisha Clanclan! And yeah, it's kind of obvious we're new around here. [She shakes his hand, her grip is rather strong. Nothing like a good firm handshake, after all.]

Was the weather like this back at your world or whatever? Cause it wasn't in mine. It's almost . . . nice.

[babygotback]

Mm, sort of! Though, it differed from which land you were in at the time, and the one I was living in was pretty much hot and dry, ha ha.

I guess that's pretty much the same everywhere. You found anything interesting out here? A secret hangout where the people in charge might be? Or a good bakery, that'd be great~

At least someone is enjoying being here.

[He'll just give a wave and a grin~]

S'matter, don't like it here? I think it's pretty awesome!

I've been here long enough that it's not exciting any more. Really I'm more thrilled by the fact you're not crying.

Me, cry? Heh! I don't look that delicate as everyone else makes out to be.

Sometimes even grown men fall to their knees and sob pathetically at being away from home. It's good to know that a man as girly looking as you won't be joining the ranks of pathetic man children.

[she smiles warmly at him]

I'm glad to see you are enjoying yourself. To many this is a very nice place, regardless of what we have to do.
