Meet and Greet [Intro #2]

You are brought to your campus and shown to your dorm rooms before you are given permission to wander the campus and the town. Meaning Fortitude students can mingle with Conquest students, they can go visit the shop (shop post will be up later today), or speak to the headmistresses and mayor. Each student now has the Exaclan manuals, a uniform, a school bag with either a shield or a sword on it, and the glove used to pull weapons.

But make sure to come to the battle area later to see the exhibition match! 

Take advantage of the free day, the freedom won't last long. Sooner rather than the later the round will start, Players will be named, Weapons will lose their privileges, and the battles will begin. So you might as well go out and make friend or start rivalries, anything to help you along later in the round.

Conquest School

[duchy]

[Lithuania is looking a bit awestruck, walking the halls of the school. It's far more elaborate than anything he's ever seen; Lithuania can't identify half the materials the building is made of, let alone some of the things inside of it.

He's peering into classrooms as he passes them with barely-restrained curiosity.]

[This older troll woman is someone you did not see at the train station when you first arrived. She is the Headmistress of Fortitude and wears a peaceful and friendly smile. She will greet all students of Fortitude and when they start wandering the city she will go along with them and greet all of the Conquest students of well.]

[She is the friendliest person. Back with the previous group of students she would win rounds just by being the Player Weapons wanted to be with.]

[Becca is wandering around the school, awestruck by almost everything. Her old school was nothing like this, and it's amazing seeing such a clean and well put together school. It actually looks like people here care, and that's amazing.]

[Becca stares at her the moment she sees her. Trolls are so pretty! Definitely in a creepy kind of way, though. But she's also the Headmistress of Fortitude...that means Becca definitely needs to talk to her. She fidgets nervously, then clears her throat.]

Ah...uhm... Could...I ask you a couple of questions, please?

[mamarosa]

[Dolorosa smiles at her]

Of course child, I will answer anything. I know Nanami can be a bit quiet so if you cannot get an answer out of her you can always come to me. But before that, I'm Dolorosa, Headmistress of Fortitude, and you are?

[duchy]

[Exploring the town is an experience, to say the least, but even in a place full of new, somewhat overwhelming things, the woman stands out. And, being so absolutely full of novel experiences he can't hold any more inside, he blurts out the first thing that pops into his head.]

You're another troll.

[mamarosa]

[she laughs a bit]

You are correct, little one, I am in fact a troll. You're a human, correct?

[drawsdeath]

Becca. I guessed who you were...you're a grown-up. You have a pretty name, though...

Why are we here? Why couldn't I stay at my old school? My family can't afford to send me to private school.

[duchy]

[Lithuania is wary--this one is much larger than the troll boy he met on the train--but she doesn't seem likely to attack.]

I'm a duchy, but that's pretty close to a human, I think.

[Conquest students will notice the smiling woman at the front gates as they arrive. She is eating an apple. She looks a little bored but says hello to people as they pass, or offers comments about their looks, or dress style some of them quite mean... it's how she shows affection, promise.

This is your headmistress but she wont offer that information if you don't ask her, she thinks it's obvious.]

[mamarosa]

Becca is a pretty name as well, and yes, I am an adult. Is that so surprising?

[she takes her questions in stride]

You are here to participate in the battle system called Exaclan and learn a wide variety of subjects. You cannot stay at your own school because you were specifically chosen for this one, it costs your family nothing.

[mamarosa]

[Dolorosa is much more peaceful than many of the other trolls, especially considering she's an adult]

Can you explain to me what a duchy is?

[drawsdeath]

Not surprising, but being a grown-up in a school means you're somebody in charge.

I'm not good at school, though. Why would you guys want somebody like me? My brother's way better at school.

[duchy]

[Lithuania pauses to watch her--she seems more at home than most of the people wandering around, and she seems to be staying by the gate. He approaches after a few moments.]

Do you live here? Before we got here, I mean?

[duchy]

It's when you're ruled by a Duke or a Duchess.

[Santana as well is one of those, if you want answers then you better ask the right questions type of person. They make a good (bad?) pair.]

[Passerbys may notice that they wear the same necklace.]

So these people are our new meat.

After everything that had gone on since he'd arrived, he was glad to be rid of that costume for the time being. So he wore the school uniform of this place, as strange as it was. He walked from the Fortitude dorms toward the town. He was going to know as much as he could about this place, at least until he found a way out of it.

[drawsdeath]

Becca is wandering around town as well, and she nods to the boy as she passes him. He's from her school, by his uniform, right? Becca is still in her clothes from home, but she's carrying her school bag, with its shield emblem clear for everyone to see.

[mamarosa]

Well I am someone in charge. I sad previously that I am the Headmistress, I'm also a teacher here, but I am just like you. I arrived here about a year ago to participate in Exaclan, I am just more seasoned than you are.

It doesn't matter how good at school you are. We teach things that do not require traditional knowledge nor is anyone forcing you to learn anything. Going to school does have its own perks though.

[mamarosa]

[By that definition he is... a place? Wait... what?]

I'm sorry, I don't understand.

Suzaku didn't get changed. He was not planning on staying here, he was so confused though, the confrontation on the train had given him a headache.

He left his room and walked out the gates, he looked like he had a purpose but he didn't, not really. Not past finding a way out of here and working out what was going on.

[duchy]

I'm a place ruled by a Duke?

[drawsdeath]

I get that, I mean, I was saying how I guessed you were.

I'd rather learn important things, like how to cook better and how to raise a family. I don't need stupid book knowledge about things I'll never need to know about.

Suzaku blinked, "Lelouch?" Part of him relaxed as he saw his friend. He had been worrying that he was here and not back fighting Schneizel with Lelouch like he was supposed to be.

"You're here too? Any idea who's behind this?" He stops at his side looking formal but completely friendly, a world away from his behavior on the train.

He takes notice of her nod, her uniform, and her face. He recognized her from the group that the quiet Japanese girl had called. But he didn't really say anything. He was too wrapped up in where he was going and what he was reading.
