Meet and Greet [Intro #2]

You are brought to your campus and shown to your dorm rooms before you are given permission to wander the campus and the town. Meaning Fortitude students can mingle with Conquest students, they can go visit the shop (shop post will be up later today), or speak to the headmistresses and mayor. Each student now has the Exaclan manuals, a uniform, a school bag with either a shield or a sword on it, and the glove used to pull weapons.

But make sure to come to the battle area later to see the exhibition match! 

Take advantage of the free day, the freedom won't last long. Sooner rather than the later the round will start, Players will be named, Weapons will lose their privileges, and the battles will begin. So you might as well go out and make friend or start rivalries, anything to help you along later in the round.

Once he'd found his assigned dorm room, read the manual he'd been provided with, and changed into the uniform he'd been provided (minus the shoes, which for some reason had frustrated him to no end) -- the garments were strange, but much warmer than what he'd arrived wearing -- Golbez proceeded to familiarize himself with the Conquest campus. Before long he came to the infirmary and stepped inside.

When he saw Sam sitting there, he spoke. "What is this room?"

He looked up and smiled. "Hi! This is the infirmary, actually." He got up to his feet. This guy was clearly an adult. He offered a hand for a shake. "Dr. Samuel Henderson. I'm going to be in charge of this humble little office."

Samuel looked young, but Golbez was used to seeing young people skilled in healing, so it wasn't much of a surprise. At least he looked slightly older than Santana and Nanami.

After a moment's hesitation, he shook the other man's hand briefly. "Golbez. It seems I'm supposed to be teaching astronomy."

[bloodbrother]

"It's good to meet you," he replied, smiling. "Teaching astronomy is a surprise for you?" That was something he didn't expect. Bringing in teachers that don't actually know the thing they're supposed to teach? Golbez seemed like an okay guy even if he was big and kind of stern-looking. There was something about him that seemed unusual though. Like he wasn't human. But when he tried to narrow it down his mind got a little cloudy.

"Teaching anything is a surprise for me," he clarified. "I do know a bit about the subject, but I am not a teacher."

At least they'd had the good sense to put an actual healer in charge of the infirmary.

Healer. Doctor. Same difference right? "Well, good luck all the same. High school kids can be jerks."

"Thank you. And the same to you."

Could they? That wasn't reassuring.

"Well, then." He turned to leave. He still had the rest of the campus to see.

"See you later!" he waved as Golbez left.

That first meeting with a fellow teacher went pretty well, he thought. He was kind of glad he hadn't been put in front of a classroom. He wasn't sure he could do it.
