Meet and Greet [Intro #2]

You are brought to your campus and shown to your dorm rooms before you are given permission to wander the campus and the town. Meaning Fortitude students can mingle with Conquest students, they can go visit the shop (shop post will be up later today), or speak to the headmistresses and mayor. Each student now has the Exaclan manuals, a uniform, a school bag with either a shield or a sword on it, and the glove used to pull weapons.

But make sure to come to the battle area later to see the exhibition match! 

Take advantage of the free day, the freedom won't last long. Sooner rather than the later the round will start, Players will be named, Weapons will lose their privileges, and the battles will begin. So you might as well go out and make friend or start rivalries, anything to help you along later in the round.

Dave seems to be thinking intently for a bit. He doesn't know how to indicate that he doesn't think it's not true...

Shit uhm...he makes a holding pencil gesture and pretends to scribble onto his manual and points to himself. He then uses his hand as though it was a mouth and has it open and close before making a X formation and points to himself again.

Oh god no, he doesn't need defending. WHY WOULD THAT BE YOUR FIRST THOUGHT???

She assumes silence is forced and has a Big Damn Hero complex. As a knight himself, he should be able to appreciate the irony.

Realization finally hits her and she goes pink. "Oh dang that was really rude of me! Hold on." She dashes back into the building, appropriates some of the paper and pencils from the corkboard and dashes back out, thrusting them out at him.

It's kind of endearing, but still. He doesn't need you jumping in to be his beautiful knightly savior.

He looks a little flustered when she comes back. He didn't think she'd suddenly run off and come back like that, although he's more then pleased that at least communication will be a little easier now.

"You shouldn't have to go around warning everyone. Really, it's my fault. Anyway..." She rubbed the back of her head, a nervous habit. "I believe it because I just got done with a very similar game." What a strange thing to admit. Was she finding this routine already? Was that what all that anger was about, an 'oh no, not this shit again!' moment?

He waves his hand dismissively to indicate he didn't mind. Seriously. At least she isn't going around making fun of him for it or something.

Because seriously? The whole dying thing got tiring after dying...huh. He doesn't even know. Just a lot of dying and it sucks.

"Did you have to duel there too?" She asked. She wasn't the most analytical of people but even she could tell that there was a common thread binding all the duellists in the last duel game (that being, some personal issue Lucifer could manipulate them with). Perhaps there was a common thread here too.

Ohtori Academy was deliberately schizophrenic in its tech level, probably due to its overlord's absolute control thereof. So, no. But she got the gist of it.

"Is that why they took us? Because we come with experience? Like a job interview?" She fairly spits those words out with disgust.

At least, he assumed they grabbed everyone at random. It looked like the student body varied greatly between fighters and those who knew jack shit about how to throw a fist even.

"I don't think they'd get both you and me by just grabbing random people..." She glanced around the grounds, trying her best to judge. Who had come here from where? Who was spoiling for a fight and who was being pulled into it, kicking and screaming? "...There's nothing nice about this."

He also glanced around, although he didn't seem to care as much as the other did. He looked back at the paper before writing his name down.

"Utena...ah, just Utena, I guess." She says, a little red. There's a big white gap where her last name should be. "I guess you're right, we have to play for now...But when I find out how, i'm taking this thing down. I hope you'll help me, Dave."

He doesn't seem bothered that no last name was given. It wasn't like he gave her his last name.
