Meet and Greet [Intro #2]

You are brought to your campus and shown to your dorm rooms before you are given permission to wander the campus and the town. Meaning Fortitude students can mingle with Conquest students, they can go visit the shop (shop post will be up later today), or speak to the headmistresses and mayor. Each student now has the Exaclan manuals, a uniform, a school bag with either a shield or a sword on it, and the glove used to pull weapons.

But make sure to come to the battle area later to see the exhibition match! 

Take advantage of the free day, the freedom won't last long. Sooner rather than the later the round will start, Players will be named, Weapons will lose their privileges, and the battles will begin. So you might as well go out and make friend or start rivalries, anything to help you along later in the round.

[This older troll woman is someone you did not see at the train station when you first arrived. She is the Headmistress of Fortitude and wears a peaceful and friendly smile. She will greet all students of Fortitude and when they start wandering the city she will go along with them and greet all of the Conquest students of well.]

[She is the friendliest person. Back with the previous group of students she would win rounds just by being the Player Weapons wanted to be with.]

[Becca stares at her the moment she sees her. Trolls are so pretty! Definitely in a creepy kind of way, though. But she's also the Headmistress of Fortitude...that means Becca definitely needs to talk to her. She fidgets nervously, then clears her throat.]

Ah...uhm... Could...I ask you a couple of questions, please?

[mamarosa]

[Dolorosa smiles at her]

Of course child, I will answer anything. I know Nanami can be a bit quiet so if you cannot get an answer out of her you can always come to me. But before that, I'm Dolorosa, Headmistress of Fortitude, and you are?

[drawsdeath]

Becca. I guessed who you were...you're a grown-up. You have a pretty name, though...

Why are we here? Why couldn't I stay at my old school? My family can't afford to send me to private school.

[mamarosa]

Becca is a pretty name as well, and yes, I am an adult. Is that so surprising?

[she takes her questions in stride]

You are here to participate in the battle system called Exaclan and learn a wide variety of subjects. You cannot stay at your own school because you were specifically chosen for this one, it costs your family nothing.

[Exploring the town is an experience, to say the least, but even in a place full of new, somewhat overwhelming things, the woman stands out. And, being so absolutely full of novel experiences he can't hold any more inside, he blurts out the first thing that pops into his head.]

You're another troll.

[mamarosa]

[she laughs a bit]

You are correct, little one, I am in fact a troll. You're a human, correct?

[duchy]

[Lithuania is wary--this one is much larger than the troll boy he met on the train--but she doesn't seem likely to attack.]

I'm a duchy, but that's pretty close to a human, I think.

[mamarosa]

[Dolorosa is much more peaceful than many of the other trolls, especially considering she's an adult]

Can you explain to me what a duchy is?

[Nanami returns once they're all at least pointed in the right direction. And because they're still surrounded by people, she's on her best behaviour.]

[mamarosa]

Good morning, Nanami. How are you feeling today? You should make sure to stay rested.

[effortless]

I rested enough this past week. I'm not so weak as to require longer than that... Ah, did you see? There are others of your species.

[mamarosa]

Even so, do not exhaust yourself taking care of the new students. Yes, I have seen them but have not spoken with them yet. Have you made their acquaintance?

[hugling]

[Teddy is wandering around the Fortitude campus, and he comes up to stand next to the Dolorosa on the pretense of inspecting a small tree.]

Uh. Hi.

[mamarosa]

[She is fine with whatever reason he chose to approach her]

Hello, are you finding your way around okay?

[hugling]

Yeah, but, uh. I had a question? Are you, uh. Are you in charge?

[he fiddles awkwardly with the sleeve of his hoodie.]

[mamarosa]

I am the Headmistress of Fortitude, so you could say I am in charge of that. There is a mayor of Rakuen as well.

[babygotback]

[Marik suddenly stops in his tracks when he passes by her, stunned for a bit by her appearance when he turns around to look at her.]

...oh...hello.

[mamarosa]

Hello! How are you today?

[Hey Dolorosa. Hope you don't mind this teen staring up at you.

He's not used to seeing older trolls. Hell, he didn't know there were any. He's almost surprised, even if it doesn't show. He has a pencil tucked behind his ear along with a few sheets of paper.

The not talking thing was becoming a problem already.]

[mamarosa]

[She waves at him]

Good morning, are you finding everything okay?

[knightime]

[It takes him a moment before giving her a curt nod. He crouches down to write something down before showing the paper to her.]

'text based electronics and where???'

[fabricates]

[Vriska's first thought when she sees an adult troll is to get the hell away, as far away as possible. Years of growing believing they'd cull you on sight is a hard lesson to unlearn. But, she wagers, she's dead now so she can't really be killed again, right? Besides, those horns look suspiciously like Kanaya's.

She struts over, exuding confidence and blatant disregard for the respect she should be giving an adult. Whatever, she has this under control.]

Since when do adult trolls even still exist??

[mamarosa]

[She turns calmly to answer Vriska when- she falters. Vriska looks surprisingly like another she knows. Mindfang. She could be a mini Mindfang, and something about that is horrifying. After a few antagonizing moments she regains her cool]

Adult trolls have existed for as long as I have. Then again I have died and been here for about a year, it is possible that they have ceased to exist.

[fabricates]

[Oh shit, she feels like she's staring at the image of an adult Kanaya. Oh, oh. Kanaya's Ancestor?? She sort of feels like she's staring at someone famous. No wait, no time to be starstruck.]

Trolls in general don't exist anymore. Alternia is gone.

[She's not really surprised to hear that she's dead, since she's an ancestor and most likely a jade-blood. Their lifespans just weren't as long as a highblood's. Not that any of the highblood Ancestors were still left anyway.]

Soooooooo, you're dead too. I guess they're just collecting dead trolls here or something. That's pretty fucking morbid!
