Meet and Greet [Intro #2]

You are brought to your campus and shown to your dorm rooms before you are given permission to wander the campus and the town. Meaning Fortitude students can mingle with Conquest students, they can go visit the shop (shop post will be up later today), or speak to the headmistresses and mayor. Each student now has the Exaclan manuals, a uniform, a school bag with either a shield or a sword on it, and the glove used to pull weapons.

But make sure to come to the battle area later to see the exhibition match! 

Take advantage of the free day, the freedom won't last long. Sooner rather than the later the round will start, Players will be named, Weapons will lose their privileges, and the battles will begin. So you might as well go out and make friend or start rivalries, anything to help you along later in the round.

Nothing here makes any sense.

[independencesong]

I'm starting to realize that. But we'll have to make sense of the things that we can, and do our best.

Like how you're a girl?

[He has decided, given all the gender issues, that usually Estonia must be a boy like he thought in the beginning.]

I suppose so. You assumed Estonia was a boy?

[duchy]

[Lithuania nods.]

But I've only seen him a few times...

Understandable. I didn't know Lithuania well for years. She was taller, then.

...So you and Latvia are really from the future?

...And you're from a future somewhere else where I'm a girl.

That is an accurate summary.

That's a lot of aside from. ...But I'm okay.

Good.

We... we should stick together. I'm sure Latvia would want it.

[duchy]

Why?

[There's no malice or any sign he dislikes the idea, just straight-out confusion. What do they have to do with each other?]

[independencesong]

Because... Some day we'll go through a lot together, and people are going to assume we're family anyway, so we might as well look out for each other like we are now. [She doesn't add in the obvious gender differences to that statement, but she trusts Lithuania to do it himself.]

[duchy]

[Lithuania considers this. He wants to ask about the future, a little, but on the other hand it might not be a good idea. What he does know is that having an ally is better than not having one, and while Estonia seems a little weird she doesn't seem disagreeable.]

Well, okay.

[That Estonia is weird, but agreeable, is a running theme, it would seem, and likely the reason she gets on as well as she does with others. It's one of her obvious traits. One of her less obvious ones is how fiercely protective she can be of her younger neighbours. For now, that includes Lithuania.]

The second red one. That's easy enough to remember, then.

Oh, that's not far.

[Convenient. Of course, now that he is not afraid of Estonia attacking him, he's examining her curiously. Specifically...]

[Glasses won't be invented for eighty-six years. He knows about using kinds of glass for magnification, but not sticking the glass in frames and wearing them.]

Oh, these? [Token glasses adjustment. Don't act like you can't visualize it.]

They're glasses, to improve my vision. So I don't walk into things anymore.

You can fix eyes with just glass?

[independencesong]

Not permanently, of course. But when I've got them on.

Here. Look through them. [Slipping the glasses off, she holds them out in Lithuania's general direction.]

[Lithuania blinks and peers through them curiously.]
