Meet and Greet [Intro #2]

You are brought to your campus and shown to your dorm rooms before you are given permission to wander the campus and the town. Meaning Fortitude students can mingle with Conquest students, they can go visit the shop (shop post will be up later today), or speak to the headmistresses and mayor. Each student now has the Exaclan manuals, a uniform, a school bag with either a shield or a sword on it, and the glove used to pull weapons.

But make sure to come to the battle area later to see the exhibition match! 

Take advantage of the free day, the freedom won't last long. Sooner rather than the later the round will start, Players will be named, Weapons will lose their privileges, and the battles will begin. So you might as well go out and make friend or start rivalries, anything to help you along later in the round.

[ Oichi winces away from the touch, but when he's obviously not out to hurt her she hides her mouth with her hands and laughs, delighted. ]

Ichi... is my name. What's yours, what's yours... tell me.

[honkhonkwoof]

Ichi, huh? [ He plays with her hair, which is really quite nice, without much thought. It's so much straighter than his own. ] My name's Gamzee. Dang, chica. [ he pats her one final time before lowering his hand. ] Do all humans have such colorful clothing and pretty hair?

[bedtime]

[ She leans into the touch like a cat. It's so rarely that she is touched, and when she is it is never kindly. ]

Ichi does not know... Ichi has only ever seen men with short hair, hidden by helmets... but does Ichi really have pretty hair? Truly?

[honkhonkwoof]

Hell yeah, sis! Your hair, is just magnificent. Miraculous, even. Don't know how it's so straight! [ He smiles down at her, and maybe kindly so, as long as Oichi isn't afraid of his teeth. ] Helmets? Why would they be wearing them?

[bedtime]

[ Oichi looks up at him slowly. ]

They were soldiers, of course... Ichi is the Demon Queen... they are there to serve her, of course... that's how it was... but no familiar faces are here. None at all.

[honkhonkwoof]

Soldiers? [ He scrunches up his face in concentration for a moment, mulling over her words. ] Demon queen? Well, that's pretty cool too, I'm the Bard of... aw, shit, I can't be remembering it. [ He shrugs. ] Hey, I haven't seen none of my friends either. Maybe we'll just have to all up and make some new friends.

[bedtime]

[ Oichi shakes her head ] Ichi had no friends... they claimed to love Ichi, but Ichi knows that is a lie... [ But a hopeful note goes through her words next. ] Will you be friends with Ichi, Gamzee...?

[honkhonkwoof]

Aw, no friends, with you being a sweet chica like this? [ Gamzee laughs a honk and pats her head again. ] Of course, sis! Hmmm, seems like we're already getting along pretty well.

[bedtime]

What is 'chica', my new friend...?

[honkhonkwoof]

How should I explain? Hmmm, I guess it's just a word I use for lady-friends. You ain't cool with it?

[bedtime]

Ah, Ichi sees and understands and comprehends... should Ichi call girls chica too...?

[honkhonkwoof]

[ He chuckles a little bit, and shrugs. ] Naw, you don't have to do that. I ain't stopping you though.

[bedtime]

It's a nice word... clear as a cloudless sky... So Ichi will use such a thing, yes... isn't it nice to be friends.

[honkhonkwoof]

The best. [ He grabs Oichi's hand and leads her over to a bench, plopping down and relaxing right away. There seemed to be less people around now. ]

Hey sis, where's your dorm? I hope we're in the same motherfucking area. I'll visit you and shit, that sound cool?

[bedtime]

[ She follows and instead of sitting on the bench, she sits on the ground. ]

Ichi doesn't remember... it was the shield. But Ichi doesn't know what that means. Visits would be wonderful... we can have a tea ceremony together, ok?

[honkhonkwoof]

[ Gamzee doesn't think her sitting on the ground is weird; it's perfectly comfortable as well, ain't it. ] Shield? Hmmm. Now I'm kinda on the spot, man. I can't remember which one that was called. I'm pretty sure it's mine too, though.

Tea ceremony? I'm down with it. Man, you are one cool as fuck motherfucker. [ Except he has no clue what a tea ceremony is. It sounds fancy. ]

[bedtime]

[ She smiles then, and looks all around herself. She's sitting in the snow but she doesn't seem to be phased in the least. Oichi puts a hand on her stomach. ]

Ichi is hungry... there is so much to see yet so little to eat...

[honkhonkwoof]

You're hungry? Well dang, that ain't no good at all. Do you have a clue where we could get some grub? [ Ick, he phrased that wrong. ] Uh, food, not grub. Gross. [ Maybe that's why he's starting to feel off. Maybe he's just hungry... ]

[bedtime]

[ She just looks at him blankly. ]

Uh... [ Awkward pause. ] I guess that's a no.

[bedtime]

[ She sways a little bit in her place before standing and brushing the snow off of her bare legs. Yeah it's finally got to her. ]

It's cold... Ichi is cold and hungry...

[honkhonkwoof]

[ He pouts and stands up as well, grabbing her hand. ] Being cold and hungry ain't no good combination. [ And now he's dragging her off with him into the little town, wandering. As long as Oichi follows him, he stops in front of a little cafe. The giant cup sign says it all. ] Heeeeeeeey, I think there might be food in there. [ He feels like he's on an adventure. Adventuring and hunting for food with his new friend. Totally. ]

[bedtime]

[ She lets herself be dragged along. She watches the scenery but does not quite seem to see much; her stare is vacant. ]

Ah, it's warm... such a bright color, such a sweet song... [ She goes inside, pushing the door aside with no real difficulty. ] Look, look... hear and see and smell... there are things to eat...

[honkhonkwoof]

[ Gamzee steps in after her, chuckling at her strange words. They were strange, but kind of soothing at the same time. ] Yeeeeeah, time to get our munchies on! [ Maybe he said that a bit too loudly. Almost everyone turns to look at him for a moment... ]
