As evening falls all the new arrivals are directed towards the battle arena in the centre of town. It is large, as large as a football pitch and there is seating all around. In the centre of the battle area there is a tower with a clock. On each side of the tower there is a screen.

The lights are on and it's obvious something is about to happen. Take a seat, enjoy the show.

OOC: The battles will be put up in two threads. Mingling can be done before the battles, during, between and after!

Hmm, well North and South America, like I said. Those two continents you don't know about.

There's Area 4, which is a large island northwest of my homeland, half of Africa, some parts of Europe, all of Russia... and Area 11, which is an island close to Korea.

[Lithuania blanks out at Russia--as Russia is one of his forgotten things--but it's really the "some of Europe" he's worried about.]

Which parts of Europe?

Only France and Spain. You're part of the E.U.

[Lithuania visibly relaxes. The 1200s aren't really a time well-known for caring what happens to your neighbors. France and Spain aren't even close by.]

[Well, if Britannia seems to be so strong as to conquer an amount of the world Lithuania can barely comprehend, it would only make sense to work at resisting it.]

I don't have anything to do with that right now. It might not even exist in my world.

[Strangely enough, none of her frost seems to be directed at Lithuania. Instead, she merely grins.]

I know. I actually want to know if they can fight me. [And she doesn't mind in the least because if they can- and they win, then she deserves the defeat she gets.]

You probably haven't lost yet. Or since you were an empire, anyway?

[The tone is neutral, more of a guess based on the information he has so far.]

[Lithuania smiles, in an innocent child sort of way. It won't be pretty when they lose, he's sure of it.]

A little bit. Confidence isn't a bad thing, though.

Hmm... I guess. All my victories came from my people though. No Emperor has ever really let me fight seriously.

Really? You don't fight against the other country?

[This would only make sense to another country, wouldn't it... At this point their conversation is practically impenetrable to anyone who isn't.]

He says I'm unnecessary. [Small shrug.] I've been on battlefields of course but I haven't really done much, it's a little frustrating.

[It really is. At least it helps to guard against eavesdroppers?]

Well, you'll get to fight here, probably.

[And, Lithuania makes sure to note to himself, they'll probably be inexperienced at anything practical.]

[Not to mention that all their fighting is done in mechs. WHOOPS.]

If we get to do what those people did, [gestures at the arena] will you fight me?
