001 ✩ Bar Fighting Class - Fortitude

Location: Fortitude Class.
Summary: Yuri's first day on the job is going... well, let's just say he wasn't made to teach.
Warnings: Shenanigans.

[When you walk into the classroom, you'll find that a majority of the desks and chairs have been cleared away to make a large, empty space in the middle of the room. The few furnishings that are present within the setting have been set to the side and look more like the tables and chairs you'd find at a restaurant than a classroom, possibly to help set the atmosphere.

The windows, rather helpfully, are large enough to accommodate a body flying through them and have been opened wide for just such an event. If anyone asks? The helper fairies did it, because Yuri sure as heck didn't. He doesn't even know what he's doing here in a teaching position.

At the moment your teacher is looking at the whiteboard pen he's got in his hand with a small amount of curiosity. "Advanced technology" and all that.]

Uh, I guess we'll start off with questions?

"You wanna tell us something about yourself?" The swordsman prodded after a moment. It wasn't that he felt that kind of introduction was necessary, it was just that he was stuck in that awkward position of not knowing what to do and delaying for time as he tried to figure that out.

Not for the first time he wondered if there was a way to get out of this job...

"Oh..." What could he say? Did the teacher mean something about him in relation to bar fighting?

"Well I have never fought before... I mean Nezumi taught me how to run away if I got attacked... I am getting better..."

There was a brief pause before Yuri gave Shion a smile. "Do you want to fight?" The question itself was unassuming in tone, little more than a harmless inquiry.

Shion looked down, "I don't know. I don't want to hurt anybody, and I think there are much better ways to resolve issues than fighting..." He remembered Nezumi's words on the subject.

"But I don't want to be a burden, I don't want to be the one who is protected all the time, I would like to be able to be the one who protects others..."
