[As promised, Feferi showed up in the Battle Arena right on time. She was rather anxious about this - Vriska was always the toughest physical fighter among the twelve of them. But she was as ready as she would ever be, twin hooks drawn, bracelet charms glinting from her wrists.]

[Never one to let someone else make the first blow, she shifts her weight from one foot to the other before darting forward, swinging the blade once she nears Feferi.]

[She nods, and she steps back, angling the weapon and pushing forward in an effort to disarm Vriska.]

[fabricates]

[She avoids the attempt, her weapon clipping for only a moment before she backsteps out of the way. She moves forward again, switching the direction of her attack to slash upwards.]

You're going to have to try waaaaaaaay harder than that!

[Feferi grins, sidestepping the forward charge and aiming for Vriska's legs with one side, the other trying to hook around her other wrist.]

So are you, Serket.

[fabricates]

I'm not even trying yet!

[She manages to keep her leg out of the way, and uses the hook around her wrist as leverage to yank her closer while she tries to kick her in the stomach.]

[The kick connects, making Feferi's grip loosen a little. She stumbles back with a hiss. Despite the force of the blow, though, she doesn't fall, instead bringing the hook that missed up to try and catch that leg.]

[fabricates]

[It finds its mark this time, and Vriska loses her balance. But not before she tries sweeping her leg across to trip Feferi too. She uses her free hand to catch herself from completely falling, wings fluttering against the ground at the close call.]

[Feferi's caught in that sweep, and, not having wings, she hits the ground hard enough to knock the wind out of her for a moment. She coughs and sputters, but she still tries to pin the other troll down.]

[fabricates]

[Vriska scrambles out of the way, because if she gets pinned that's harder to get out of. Once she's back on her feet, she swings her weapon downwards again at Feferi.]

[Vriska's fast. She's really fast, faster than Feferi can react with her breath not quite intact. She rolls away from the fairy, but she's not entirely fast enough to dodge entirely; it nicks her arm and makes her drop that end of her hook.]

[fabricates]

[Vriska grins, closing the distance to try to kick her while she's down. Playing fair? Not for this girl.]

Come on, Feferi. You aren't even making me work for this!
