Open Log
Characters: Britannia and yooou~[Over on the dock, bare feet dangling over the edge, Britannia lays on her back with her pant legs rolled up and staring up at the darkening sky. Her shoes are next to her head, not that she seems to particularly care about them at the moment as she allows herself the undignified position in the absence of any human company. No, right now she's currently debating whether or not she should go bug Kiku or stay here and watch the stars come out. Surely there's no such thing as a curfew at this school, right? And especially not for her when she's a professor of all things.]
Format: action/prose
This log is: open
Location: Dock area in the evening, just before the sun sets.
Summary: Britannia's relaxing and has no one to bother. Yet.
Warnings: Nothing yet.
Oh, maybe I can get Kiku and we can watch the stars together. [The thought is brilliant, of course, a compromise. She could even get Antonio, Suzaku, Lelouch and England too. Except...] Hmm... they're probably all busy and it would take too much time to gather them up.
[Another sigh.] Oh well, I guess I'll just wait alone.

Still, she gives him a blankly pleasant smile in greeting.] Evening.

He probably looked a little ridiculous. Sunglasses in the evening.]

Thank you.
[Hey, she's got her feet in the water. She's not going to judge. After taking the scone, she'll give it a delicate bite and chew it slowly before patting the spot next to her.] Care to join me?

He hugs his knees to his chest, the water probably being a little too chilly for his tastes and the weather itself was already cold enough for him. Dave is relatively surprised they've gotten this far without him having to pull his PDA out to 'talk.' He doubt it'll stay like this for that long. Kids his age are usually obnoxiously loud, right?]

0u0 If Dave's font bothers you, please just tell me!
No problem here! o/
Alright. I just want to make sure :)
Thank you~ :)

Internally Dawwing
A rare cute moment. ;w;
This is quite adorable ;///w///;
They should do the star gazing in blankets on the roof next.
Omg yes. Dave probably goes on the roof on a daily basis anyways

I SWEAR I PUT A RESPONSE IN THIS BOX ONE COMMENT AGO. But yes, roof trips.
The best roof trips. SUBJECT LINES ARE REBELLING OH SHI-
NO SUBJECT LINES, WE NEED YOU.
Subject lines don't care about our needs D8
This is such a one-sided relationship. ;w;
But we still love it so
How could we ever live without them.

Better view, too. Speaking of which. He's just gonna peer down at you. ]
Oh, hey. You that chick who's also the empire?

Rather than act embarrassed at being caught in this position, Britannia opts to stay in it as her gaze of the sky is suddenly blocked by a rather familiar face. One she hadn't seen since her first day here, though she can't say she's been actively seeking him out. Confrontations with rebellious knights isn't exactly her job, very strictly on the "not allowed to meddle in" side of things she's only allowed to observe. Resultantly, she's decided to let Gino be until Schneizel, Charles, Cornelia or Odysseus shows up.
Although by now she knows the truth, that Suzaku is ahead in her time and Gino is probably further than that. ... or he might be a traitor all the same, who knows for sure?]
Yep, you can just call me Britannia.
no subject
How does that work, anyway?
no subject
Who knows? I'm here though, so that's all that really matters.

He won't step on her, though! He's more situationally aware than THAT. ]

As it is, at the sound of his footsteps she slowly sits up, glancing about for their source. Whether or not the movement attracts his attention or not, he's certainly attracted hers. Have a slow blink as she considers this newcomer, wondering if he's out here for the same reasons as she, enjoying the weather, or if he's up to something. The latter's curiosity is merely idle speculation, entertainment for a bored mind.
Still, she'll convey her friendliness with a little wave.]

He pulls it out and types quickly before stepping closer and holding it out for her to see, smiling. ]
hi! my name's john.

Britannia. [The introduction is short but made with a polite nod of her head.] Out for a walk?
no subject
i'm new, so i'm trying to learn where everything is!
i got distracted by the sunset and the stars.
there's a couple peeking out already, see?
[ Once he's shown her the PDA, he points up to where the first star or two of the evening are starting to twinkle ]

I do not think Kiku would like to come out of room much. He likes to hide in his blankets on his bed, feels safer there I think.
no subject
You just have to give him a little nudge now and then. Otherwise he might start growing fungi.
no subject
That is not good, I will remember that when I go back to the dorm. He seems much more shy than Kikyo, and she is very quiet.
no subject
Hmm... that might be my fault. [What she means by that, however, remains a mystery as instead she chooses to sit up and dangle her feet out of the water, letting the evening chill cool her toes.] You wanna join me?
no subject
Yes, I think I will.
[He'll move closer and sit beside her, pulling off heavy hobnailed workboots and socks before rolling up his uniform pants and letting his feet hang into the water.]
What do you think of being teacher here? I heff met many people who think they are smarter than are. Makes me wonder.
