Battle (Monday after school)

Suzaku Kururugi vs.Dahlia Hawthorne

Weapons: Feferi Peixes and Lelouch vi Britannia
Location: Grassy area in town
Time of day: Directly after school

Suzaku and Feferi were waiting at the place they had agreed to meet Dahlia and Lelouch, although Suzaku was confident that he could win this he was nervous, as a trident was a weapon he had only used in practice. He looked to Feferi to check she was okay, and waited quietly for the others.

Lelouch just smirked back at the others. "Suzaku, do you honestly think I was going to ask you to actually fight a girl like this?" He looked a bit amused, actually. "She's younger than Nunnally." As he spoke, he began to cross the gap between the two Players.

[traces]

Dahlia relaxed and let out a sigh as the sword vanished from her grip. She didn't appreciate Lelouch patronizing her like that, but at least it meant he didn't see any sort of threat in her.

She followed close behind Lelouch, in case Suzaku wanted to shake hands or something. "I'm very sorry. I simply assumed that you were aware of the arrangement..."

Suzaku blinked and then nodded, he supposed she wasn't a fighter, this way she wouldn't get hurt. He nodded to her politely, "Don't worry Dahlia, Lelouch often forgets to tell others his plans."

"I'm just glad that this was settled with no one getting hurt. Are you all right, Miss Dahlia? I hope it wasn't a strain on you, either." Feferi didn't see any clear injuries or anything, but the girl did look delicate.

Then she turned to Lelouch, giving him a warm smile.

He turned to Feferi. "I don't believe we've met before. I'm Lelouch. Suzaku and I have been friends since we were children." Some would say they still were. Some would be wrong.

[traces]

"I'm quite all right, thank you," Dahlia replied, smiling at Feferi shyly, as though the other girl's appearance made her nervous. "I'm just glad we were able to settle that without any violence. I wouldn't want to hurt anybody."

"I am glad you are alright," he nodded at her and then fell silent, allowing Feferi to introduce herself.

Feferi made a light curtsy to both of them, then extended a hand to Lelouch. "My name is Feferi Peixes. I know I look, well..." She took the moment to point to her horns and fins.

"Weird. But I'm friendly, I promise. Suzaku's been a really good friend, and I hope I can be friends with all of you, opposite sides or not."

He took her hand and gave it an amiable shake. "I don't hold the actions of an individual against all those that look like him. If Suzaku trusts you, then that's enough for me." Not really, but it sounded appropriate. "Yes, we're all prisoners here, all the same."

[traces]

"Yes, it's what's inside that really matters," Dahlia added. "I'm very sorry, Miss Feferi. I didn't mean to prejudge you."

Suzaku nodded, he trusted Feferi, despite having only known her just over a week now. It hadn't even crossed his mind to blame Feferi for what Gamzee had done, despite them both being trolls.

But then again Suzaku was both good at not being prejudice against groups of people for the actions of individuals, and knew what such things felt like. He kept quiet though, glad that he had won no matter how underhand it has been.
