Poison class week 3, Friday.

OOC note: There isn't a lesson 2 because I never put up a log last round, but pretend that everyone learned about the 5 most useful poisons of our time and how to make them. If your character is new they just get thrown into the class and get to have fun working out what to do.

IC: [beginning] Day was sort of glad that her duties as a headmistress meant that she only had to teach once a week. Not that she had ever minded teaching every day, but it had gotten boring. Today she stood with a smile, it was the final day of the round and Conquest were doing well.

Day was glad they had listened to her, it made things so much easier. "Poisoning usually follows a set structure," she began with a smile, "Jobs are quick, you make the poison, kill the target, get out. However there is some time between those first two steps. For sitting your target down and making the poison in front of them is a bit risky.

Remember, caution first; always. So it is that you must transport your poison to your target, and to do that you must know how to store poison safely, with as little risk to yourself as possible."

[middle] The task is quite easy, every table of four has been given a a small tub with a poison in it. Everyone has gloves and though the poison is one that can affect you through skin contact it will only make you sick for a few days, it wont kill you. The task is, using small pipettes, to fill up six small vials. A steady hand is needed and Day wont be happy if you spill too much.

[end] Day grinned at the class, eating a heart shaped cookie that she had been given for Red Day. "Homework, those six vials are to be kept on your person at all times, apart from when you sleep. Guard them well, we may stop you and ask to see that you have them. Keep them safe, they are sturdy but if you are careless they will smash. You don't want to poison yourselves. Class dismissed." She leaned on the desk, finishing off the cookie whilst she waited in case anyone had questions.

[Cirno has actually kept quiet and has been sitting on her hands. She wanted notihing to do with poison and kept as far away from it as she could.]

[Once Day has seen to it that the rest of the class is getting on with their work she comes over to the child.] Is there a problem? [Her voice is stern.]

[A quick shake of her head.]

Nope! No problem here!

[Still sitting on her hands.]

Good [A raise of an eyebrow as she takes a bite of cookie]

So if there is no problem why are you not doing the task I set?

[The look on her face tells anyone she did not think this through all the way. Her eyes dart around befoe an idea dawns on her]

I didn't wanna be in the way?

[kingofpoisons]

[A raised eyebrow] In the way of what? It is an activity where you are supposed to be working with your fellow classmates.

[Santana sits smugly in the background, she remembers this lesson from when she was actually taking Day's class. It was pretty humorous.]

[Day exchanges a smirk with her as she walks past.] Having fun Santana?

[straightupzorra]

It would be more fun if I could take bets on how many people will screw up this weeks lesson. That was always my favorite part of this week.

[kingofpoisons]

[Having more raks then you could count sort of took the fun out of betting but Day grinned anyways.] Most of them by the look of it, want to take a guess at a number?

[straightupzorra]

We could do a high-low type thing. I bet more than half of them are going to fuck up this week. What should the price be?

[kingofpoisons]

More than half? [She smirked and looked round, Santana had probably called it right]

Name your price?

[straightupzorra]

[she looks over the class]

1,000 Raks, take it or leave it.

[kingofpoisons]

[Day smirks] Like you really need any more money. Deal though, if that's what you want.

[straightupzorra]

1,000 Raks is nothing to either of us, you know that, but I didn't want to be rude and clear you out.

[kingofpoisons]

How considerate Santana. [Smirk] How about, if you win I let you issue another challenge, see if any of this lot has the backbone to fight you yet.

[straightupzorra]

[there's no hesitation]

Deal. Enough losers probably think they're tough shit by now. I'll teach them that they're nowhere near tough enough to mess with the staff.

[Day grinned] I look forward to it.

[she perks up at that]

Can I issue the challenge anyway?

[kingofpoisons]

[She thinks for a moment and then smirks] Might as well, it's a forgone conclusion this bet.

[straightupzorra]
