[Yuki is in the dining hall with the rule book in front of her and a plate of food on her left. On her right is a note book where she is diligently taking notes.]

[Your name is in the book. She has a list of the players, weapons, playerless weapons, battles, outcomes, stats, everything she could possibly need in the future. Don't be creeped out, it's necessary]

[mumbling] I don't understand...

[Gino was originally just passing through, but when he spots Yuki sitting across the hall, he reverses direction, into the self-service area, and emerges again with two glasses of orange juice.

Which he then takes over to her table, like the spoils of war, taking care to be obvious in his approach instead of heading there from an angle she can't spot him from.]

Yo. Peace offering? [holds out the glass slightly more full of juice. Shut up it's the only thing he could find on short notice.]

[Yuki sees him enter the room and get a glass of juice, but she doesn't think that he's going to come over to her]

[but then he does]

[She hesitantly offers him a smile and takes the glass. By now she knows that Gino won't hurt her, but that doesn't mean she isn't still a bit wary of the tall male.]

Hey, don't mention it. [he doesn't sit down, since she seems to be busy, but the notes are right there, so he takes a look.

... Huh. Takes a thoughtful sip of orange juice.] That's a lot of information.

[takes a sip from the cup]

[looks at her notes] It may be useful soon.

[motions towards the seat across from her] You can sit... if you want. [aaah shy]

[does! And promptly reaches over the table to swivel the notebook to him for a second.]

'Scuse me...

[flips through the notes, making the occasional interested noise as he notices information relevant to him or the others, and pushes it back to where it was before he snagged it.]

Is it for your Player?

[Scrambles for her notebook but doesn't really try that hard to get it back]

It's for Sora.

[Speaking of creepy, Sherlock pauses on his way past to silently read over her shoulder.]

[She's too absorbed in her reading and doesn't notice]

[This could go on for a while!

Eventually, though, he spots his own name on the page and chuckles softly.]

[Yuki was bent over her notes but at his chuckle she sits up straight, back stiff, and doesn't move]

I try and keep track of everything.

[Grenn was just passing by to another table, but the mumble and the open noptebook catches her attention.]

[Normally, she'd pass by. But she's curious. It just takes her a bit to open her mouth. In the meantime, she's aware she probably looks strange, chair still like that.]

If you... don't mind me asking... What don't you understand? [She winces. Kind of wishes the girl will ask her to go away. Because just asking out of the blue like that seems sudden and rude.]

[Yuki doesn't mind the interruption]

Oh, um, why girls can be Players here.

Well... [Grenn pauses to think. There could be many reasons...]

You get most amusement out of confusion? [That was the closest she could think of. If the Players and Weapons were fixed, confusion would soon settle down for planning and determination.]

Besides... If not everybody expects subjugation to be the natural order of things, people start to subvert it. [She shrugs. And if whoever the people are want to have a lasting 'game' you can't have people subverting it as soon as possible, now can you?]

[She never thought about it like that, as Grenn speaks she turns to a new page and writes that down. Change for confusion]

[Grenn shrugs, and tries not to feel embarassed.]

Thanks. Honestly... at the moment, it's the only thing that makes sense, to me. Considering people are being taken from all over. [There will probably be some other reason, but for the moment, she feels satisfied that something has come up.]

Perhaps I should thank you too. I probably wouldn't have thought of it otherwise! [A lopsided smile briefly slides over her lips.]

[All over? What did that mean? She'd have to find out where everyone was from, maybe there was a trend or a preference.] If you don't mind, where are you from?
