Thunderstorm (Attn: All)

As classes continue on Friday the weather gets continuously worse until teachers announce that the last class will be cancelled. Screens display the message that all students must report to their dorms but power outages and flickers render them mostly ineffectual. Prefects are instead sent out, armed with waterproofs to make sure all students make it back to their dorms.

Thunder crashes and lightning lights up the sky as the lights flicker and the wind gets steadily louder. Students are required to remain inside, prefects are sent round with snacks and all prepare themselves for a long, wet and windy afternoon.

Suzaku went to Red dorm second even more soaked from rain than he had been when he entered the White dorm. "Excuse me, may I have your attention for a few moments. I have been asked to check if everyone is here. My list includes everyone who should be in this dorm so if there is anyone currently in a coma please let me know." He began reading.

"Noted." Suzaku didn't want to speak to her more than he had to but his tone was perfectly polite as he ticked her off the list.

[Sis comes walking in a little later, okay so what she was out in the rain storm for a bit. She just wanted to see how bad the weather was actually going to get.]

Someone will be coming round with warm drinks soon Sis. [He nodded at her, ticking off her name.]

Hello Nunnally [He went over to her chair to speak to her.] How are you? [She had been scared of storms when she was little, he didn't know if that had changed.]

[it's a little better, but still something that affects her. she's trying to ignore it, though starts a bit at the next thunder]

I- [p-pause] I'm fine.

I'm glad. [His PDA beeped and he took it out, reading the message from Lelouch with a frown before putting it away.]

Your brother. [Suzaku tried to look reassuring.]

Jadesprite was sat in a chair in the corner as Suzaku was calling names. She raised a hand to indicate that she was there. But neon tears quietly rolled down her face, with only the lightest sniffle. She was still worried about that shadow thing. Sure, she'd beaten it. Somehow. But this week was just getting worse and worse.

It was the crying girl again, Suzaku went over to her and knelt near her chair. "Why are you crying Jadesprite?"

[sobsprite]

"This week has been awful! First I got stuck fighting my shadow in the tower, then this... Woof" She wipes her face off with her hands, only succeeding in smearing neon green on them. "I'm sorry. I know everyone told me not to cry anymore."

"You went into the tower?" Suzaku hadn't but he had heard about what had happened. "I don't think you should go in them again, but don't worry this is just a storm it will pass soon." He didn't tell her off for crying. He used to cry easily, a long time ago.

[sobsprite]

"I was there when it all started. I couldn't get out unless I fought it." she shook her head. "No way am I going in there again." She pulled where her knees should be up to her chest, leaving her ghosty tail hanging off the end of the chair. "Woof."

"No it is probably best you don't." He stayed near her, "Someone will be coming in with food soon, and hot drinks."

[sobsprite]

"Okay.... Thanks." Sniff. It was a fortunate thing that she wasn't Jaspersprite. Or he might have been bitten.

[Arthur is annoyed, he's not a child]

I'm here, may I go now?

No. [He ticked Arthur's name off.] Everyone should remain here until the headmistress tells us otherwise.

That may be so but I must go and make sure my manservant stays out of trouble or doesn't end up dying in the storm.

There are prefects patrolling both campuses to make sure everyone is safe inside.

Ah, but you don't know Merlin. The fool can't do anything without me, he doesn't even remember his name.

"Many people don't remember their name, but I am sure the prefects have the situation under control. If you wish I can contact one of them on the PDA and check that your friend is alright." Not Lelouch though, from the sound of the message he left Suzaku he isn't doing his job at all, as usual.
