Meet and Greet [intro #1]

As you all crowd onto the platform with your bizarre mix of faces, expressions, clothing and wild theories, you are met by two girls. Both are in uniforms that would match if not for the colour differences - skirt, waistcoat, and a light summer shirt that seems totally inappropriate for the thin layer of snow coating the station platform. Both have a beret with a crest - one's shows a sword, the other's a shield.

At the first lull in the chatter, the taller girl, her uniform red and white, speaks out over the crowd.

"Hey, losers!"

She explains, in short, irritated sentences, that they're prefects, representing the two schools in Rakuen. Santana, Conquest, she says, gesturing to herself with a smile that would be smug if she didn't look so annoyed to be out here. Nanami here is Fortitude, she adds, pointing to the pale girl half-leaning on her other arm. The girl nods.

"We're here to get you sorted and back to campus. If you wanna ask stupid questions, do it on the way. It's freezing out here."

The girl introduced as Nanami interrupts. "When we say your name, please move quickly and quietly to us."

"Yeah, then we can go back to the dorms."

They separate, moving to stand several metres apart, and both pull a list from their waistcoat pocket. Alternating, they start to read out your names.

Tough shit, you can't just jump ship because you know someone on the other side. [not that she wouldn't try and do the same if Brittany was on the other side] You're stuck in Conquest, deal with it.

It's important that I stay close to this person. I can't let her out of my sight. ... so don't try to keep me.

[Santana looks around a bit before lowering her voice] Look, you can't leave but I know if someone I... was close to... was on the other side I would try to be there too, or bring her over here. But you can't, it's against the rules. What I can do for ya is tell Nanami and Dolorosa to keep an eye out on her and makes sure she's okay.

Tell anyone I gave you this offer and I will punish you.

[ Homura hesitates, lowering her gaze. If it's against the rules that means there is likely some sort of punishment. Homura was resigned to play along with this place ever since she woke up-- just long enough to figure out what's going on and how to get out. And punishment may end up hampering her.

So with that in mind, Homura meets Santana's eyes. Santana might notice that her eyes are a bit red-- she was crying earlier, so it's natural. Homura feels some shame about that, but pushes it away. What's important is that Madoka's safety is promised, even if it's by a stranger Homura is unsure if she can trust. ]

Madoka Kaname is her name. ...Don't let her get hurt. Please.

You got it, I'll talk to Nanami about her. My suggestion, if you wanna stay close to her, get a partner, be it a Weapon or a Player and battle Fortitude, battle her with her partner, win or lose you get to be with her. But seriously, win, I don't want any of my students on the Fortitude side of things.
