Meet and Greet [intro #1]

As you all crowd onto the platform with your bizarre mix of faces, expressions, clothing and wild theories, you are met by two girls. Both are in uniforms that would match if not for the colour differences - skirt, waistcoat, and a light summer shirt that seems totally inappropriate for the thin layer of snow coating the station platform. Both have a beret with a crest - one's shows a sword, the other's a shield.

At the first lull in the chatter, the taller girl, her uniform red and white, speaks out over the crowd.

"Hey, losers!"

She explains, in short, irritated sentences, that they're prefects, representing the two schools in Rakuen. Santana, Conquest, she says, gesturing to herself with a smile that would be smug if she didn't look so annoyed to be out here. Nanami here is Fortitude, she adds, pointing to the pale girl half-leaning on her other arm. The girl nods.

"We're here to get you sorted and back to campus. If you wanna ask stupid questions, do it on the way. It's freezing out here."

The girl introduced as Nanami interrupts. "When we say your name, please move quickly and quietly to us."

"Yeah, then we can go back to the dorms."

They separate, moving to stand several metres apart, and both pull a list from their waistcoat pocket. Alternating, they start to read out your names.

I'm the only Prefect of Conquest. [she points to Nanami] She's the only Prefect of Fortitude.

So, wait. How're you going to keep control of everyone with just the two of you? [ he's not being threatening at all, he's honestly puzzled. ]

I've got status that you don't. There's also a Headmistress in each school, a mayor of Rakuen, and a shop keeper. My status keeps me above all of you.

Ha! [ he holds his hands up in mock surrender, but it's kind of adorable to see someone who isn't royalty acting like this. ] Okay, I'm convinced.

[straightupzorra]

[She is Rakuen royalty, shut up]

Well, good! Do you have any other questions?

[trollofthree]

Hmm. [ well, if he thinks up another question, he can keep chatting to her... But he really should take the time to think things over. ] Plenty, but I'll let you know if I think of any I actually want answered. Sound good?

[straightupzorra]

Why wouldn't you want your questions answered?

'Cause I bet I wouldn't like the answers, and then this'd stop being like some kind of weird holiday.

I'd rather know the information and be unhappy with it than not know it at all.

[trollofthree]

Guess so. Any information you can give me that'll make me unhappy, then?

[straightupzorra]

You can't leave, you can't die in order to leave, you may be separated from friends but all of those are more like, well tough shit. I can't tell you what will make you unhappy because I don't really know you.

[trollofthree]

[ whoops, made her annoyed. Oh well. ] Yeah, those don't sound too bad. It's not like I'm vital back home or anything.

[Santana is easily annoyed, you're par for the course] Oh? What do you do back home?

I'm the Empress's Knight of One. But, hey. She's here too. Convenient, huh?

You know, the cute girl in the wheelchair. [ He can't remember her name okay shut up. ]

Wheelchair girl is Nunnally, I've met her. You're telling me she's a Empress and you're a Knight?

[ haha ] What'd you say t'her? She's pretty tough to offend, no worries.
