Meet and Greet [Intro #2]

You are brought to your campus and shown to your dorm rooms before you are given permission to wander the campus and the town. Meaning Fortitude students can mingle with Conquest students, they can go visit the shop (shop post will be up later today), or speak to the headmistresses and mayor. Each student now has the Exaclan manuals, a uniform, a school bag with either a shield or a sword on it, and the glove used to pull weapons.

But make sure to come to the battle area later to see the exhibition match! 

Take advantage of the free day, the freedom won't last long. Sooner rather than the later the round will start, Players will be named, Weapons will lose their privileges, and the battles will begin. So you might as well go out and make friend or start rivalries, anything to help you along later in the round.

[ Oichi sees him, and hides behind a tree, peeking out at him. She is careful to run from tree to tree, hiding herself as best she can, and she's pretty oblivious to how much of a sore thumb she is. After all, in this weather, you'd think someone would wear pants. But she doesn't seem to mind it at all.

Eventually she ends up plopping down on the bench an arm's length away from him. She peers at him curiously, and says: ]

Hello... what's your name?

[hugling]

[Teddy saw some of the tree-running shenanigans, and he turns and smiles at her, looking a little bemused.]

Hi, I'm Teddy. What's yours?

[bedtime]

Ichi... that is my name. Hello, Teddy. Ichi has never seen so many foreigners before... so many, so many... and so many strange buildings. The sky is the only thing that is familiar to Ichi... where are we? A dream...?

[countryofassholes]

Changed and amused at what she considered a quaint uniform, Britannia had left her room shortly afterward to get a better sense of this island city. Not for the first time she wondered at its location, or who had setup such an elaborate scheme, but for now she was willing to play along.

After all, this was perhaps the first time in her life that her immediate concerns weren't which country to invade next. It was kind of refreshing.

So among this sea of similarly clad people, it was no small wonder that she spotted Suzaku in his non-conforming outfit first, causing her to beeline towards him.

"Didn't like the uniform?" She asked, voice bright.

[ almost hidden behind her skirts, Kotarou seems to have taken it upon himself to make sure Oichi doesn't do anything stupid. So far, he's failing, 'cause talking to some creepy-looking foreigner is right up there in the stupid category. He finally comes out of his slightly-more-successful hiding. ]

Ichi, don't just talk to foreigners!

[ Don't mind him just glaring at you, Teddy. ]

Going in the opposite direction, Britannia was unabashedly glancing about and taking in the sights. Though no closer to anything remotely useful in terms of finding out who did this or why, she was certainly enjoying her newfound freedoms, if only in the way that a child might lightly enjoy being able to walk around unsupervised.

As she passed Lelouch, only giving him a passing glance at first, she paused when his facial structure registered as familiar and turned to look back. Each section she stared at the back of the head, the stronger the sensation became until she was suddenly switching directions to place a hand on his shoulder.

"Excuse me."

[You know what's not amazing? Being surrounded by foreigners and people in stupid clothing. And not having your dog. The latter is Kotarou's focus right now; he's running around, calling a name.]

Tobimaru! Tobimaru!

[hugling]

[Teddy was about to say something to Oichi, but now there's this grubby kid glaring at him. Teddy stares right back.]

Uh, you know, technically we're all foreigners since none of us are from here.

[turns to Oichi.]

It's nice to meet you, Ichi. As far as I can gather, we've been taken to some kind of parallel world, and I'm pretty sure we're awake.

[bedtime]

[ Oichi looks to Kotarou, and giggles a little. ]

He's ok, so don't worry, little Kota...

[ Then Teddy talks to her, and she tilts her head slowly from side to side. She doesn't understand. ]

What is a parallel world? Ichi... has never heard of anything like that, so tell Ichi what it means...

[tenwholeryou]

[ he grumbles, but within a few seconds he's given up again and scrambles up onto the bench next to Teddy. The guy looks slow, so if he does turn out to be dangerous, he can get away. It's fine. Also, what the hell. ]

Yeah, tell us.

[babygotback]

[He stops in his tracks as he perks up and turns to her, smiling all the while.]

Yeah! Pretty obvious, huh? [Holding out a hand to shake.] I'm Marik Ishtar. Who're you?

[babygotback]

Heh, well...

[He rubs the back of his head sheepishly]

I never got to travel a lot, so being in a new and unfamiliar place is wonderful! I'm betting the culture here is awesome, too.

[hugling]

[THIS IS KIND OF WEIRD.]

Uh, well, so there are different universes-- different worlds, I guess you could say, that exist side by side, and sometimes, you know, weird stuff happens and people travel between them. It happens sometimes in my world. This might be some kind of small pocket dimension or something, or there might be a whole solar system or galaxy outside of Rakuen. Does that make any sense?

[bedtime]

[ Oichi just looks at him blankly and silently. ]

[ Yyyyep. ]

[babygotback]

[Marik suddenly stops in his tracks when he passes by her, stunned for a bit by her appearance when he turns around to look at her.]

...oh...hello.

Once he'd found his assigned dorm room, read the manual he'd been provided with, and changed into the uniform he'd been provided (minus the shoes, which for some reason had frustrated him to no end) -- the garments were strange, but much warmer than what he'd arrived wearing -- Golbez proceeded to familiarize himself with the Conquest campus. Before long he came to the infirmary and stepped inside.

When he saw Sam sitting there, he spoke. "What is this room?"

[hugling]

[......]

Uh. Okay. So... this world might be a different world than where you came from. Yes?

[bedtime]

Different worlds... yes, we're in a fairytale land, aren't we...

What d'you mean, worlds?

[bloodbrother]

You always shake like that?

[hugling]

Not a fairytale land. You know what, think of it as another planet. A planet that's really far away.

[knightime]

[Hey Dolorosa. Hope you don't mind this teen staring up at you.

He's not used to seeing older trolls. Hell, he didn't know there were any. He's almost surprised, even if it doesn't show. He has a pencil tucked behind his ear along with a few sheets of paper.

The not talking thing was becoming a problem already.]

What's a planet?

[Dave raised an eyebrow. He was hearing some of the comments she made, not that it bothered him. He was heading out anyways. He needed to get something more useful then pencil and paper to communicate.

He eventually might walk passed her, glancing at her through his shades.]
