Meet and Greet [Intro #2]

You are brought to your campus and shown to your dorm rooms before you are given permission to wander the campus and the town. Meaning Fortitude students can mingle with Conquest students, they can go visit the shop (shop post will be up later today), or speak to the headmistresses and mayor. Each student now has the Exaclan manuals, a uniform, a school bag with either a shield or a sword on it, and the glove used to pull weapons.

But make sure to come to the battle area later to see the exhibition match! 

Take advantage of the free day, the freedom won't last long. Sooner rather than the later the round will start, Players will be named, Weapons will lose their privileges, and the battles will begin. So you might as well go out and make friend or start rivalries, anything to help you along later in the round.

[Hiding behind a chair. Stop terrorizing your Baltic cousins.]

[Estonia rocks on her feet a moment, then stands and goes over towards Lithuania.]

I don't know, but hiding's not going to make things any better. You'll learn that, some day. [A little pause, and, hey, can you tell how confused and uncertain she is?] Come out and talk with me.

[duchy]

[Somewhat defensively.]

I know that, that's why I'm unifying.

[Yup, he's from a long time ago. He doesn't move until she's stopped moving, though, inching out from around the chair.]

[independencesong]

You're unifying.

[It's half question, half bewildered statement, but she stands still, just watching the shorter nation.]

Something's wrong, then. The times are wrong. Have you seen anyone else from our area around here?

[duchy]

Latvia. Who's taller than me, too.

[Lithuania is a bit more willing to believe Estonia is who she says she is--he's almost never seen her. He's still not sure about all the timeline things, though. But since she seems to be having a similar reaction to Latvia, maybe Latvia is telling the truth, too.]

[independencesong]

Hm. She would be by now, wouldn't she? [Don't mind her trailing off, mentally comparing the child in front of her to the sister who was just getting into trouble with the sheep last week.] Do you know where we can find her?

[duchy]

[Lithuania shies back, uncertain again.]

Latvia's a boy.

[independencesong]

I think I know my sister's gender, Leedu.

[duchy]

I just talked to him on the train. He shook just like the real Latvia.

[This is how you identify Latvias.]

...Well, maybe a little more...

[independencesong]

... You mean she shook just like the real Latvia. I know she used to have her boyish moments when she was younger, but didn't we all?

[duchy]

The Latvia I talked to was definitely a boy...

[The second half of the statement confuses him, but he doesn't immediately jump to "Estonia thinks I'm a girl", because that would be a pretty wild leap. Instead, he just ignores it.]

Maybe she was in disguise for some reason.

[duchy]

...What?

[That is a ridiculously paranoid assumption, Estonia.]

[independencesong]

Why else would she be masquarading as a boy? Particularly at her own sister.

[The way she says 'sister' quite cleanly implies that that's Latvia Logic, and not Estonia Logic.]

[duchy]

Then you've seen Latvia here?

[Since Estonia is the only one claiming to be her sister.]

[independencesong]

No, I meant you.

[duchy]

Latvia's not my brother. Or my sist--

[...Wait. Wait.]

I'm a boy!

[independencesong]

No, you're not!

[duchy]

You can't tell me I'm not!

[independencesong]

I've known you for eight-hundred years, Leedu! I'm pretty sure I know your sex.

[duchy]

I am Lithuania, I'm totally sure I know if I'm a boy or a girl!

[Flustering in a very Lithuania-like way, though.]

I-I'm not about to prove it to you, but--!

[independencesong]

[That's cool, she'll just lineface in a very Estonia-like way.]

Then how would you explain the discrepancy?

[duchy]

How do I explain any of this?!

[But, after a pause:]
