On the platform: New characters and old ones that want to come and meet them!

As you all crowd onto the platform with your new and still bizarre mix of faces, expressions, clothing and wild theories, you are met by two girls. Both are in uniforms that would match if not for the colour differences - skirts, waistcoats, and light summer shirts that seem totally inappropriate for the thin layer of snow and ice coating the station platform. Both have a beret with a crest - one shows a sword, the other a shield.

At the first lull in the chatter, the shorter girl speaks up, her soft voice somehow cutting over you.

"Excuse me,"

She explains, in precise, quiet sentences, that they're prefects, representing the two schools in Rakuen. Nanami of Fortitude, she says, placing a hand on her own collarbone, and Santana of Conquest, here pointing to the taller girl she's leaning against. The girl nods, looking fairly bored.

"We will be sorting you now. When we say your name, please move quickly and quietly to whoever called you."

"Yeah," Santana interrupts, "Then we can go back to the dorms. It's not getting any warmer however many times they make us do this."

They separate, moving to stand several metres apart, and both pull a list from their waistcoat pocket. Alternating, they start to read out your names.

Tear had been about to answer Santana again when this other girl barrelled up to them. Tear had flown up high out of self-preservation. "Your fellow what? I'm sorry, I don't believe we've met before."

"Yeah yeah! Mental problems, ok. Be quiet!" Nekoko says it flippantly. Instead of listening to Santana, she focuses on Tear, reaching up with her arms to try and touch her. "Sidhe! Fairy! You know. I'm one too! We can be fairy friends!! I'm Nekoko, what's your name!?"

She just stares at the two of them in disbelief, "You have got to be kidding me." Sometimes she really hates this school.

[greenspaces]

[ She giggles but it quickly turns into a cough. ]

Sorry. I haven't talked in a long time.

Well guess what, she's the boss here. Sort of. She's only a Prefect but the Headmistress lets her do whatever she wants. That tree better get to talking.

"Are you kidding? Have you looked at yourself lately? You're like a balloon. No, no, let me guess, you have one of those fun house mirrors that make you look really skinny. And I guess for you really skinny would be about normal sized."

She really doesn't like him.

And yet he can't really find it in himself to care much. So long as she doesn't try attack him then the two of them will be kosher in his own opinion.

"Don't be silly! Of course I don't have any of those mirrors!" But at her next attempt at trying to lower his self-esteem all she gets is him blinking and patting his body. "Do I? But I could have sworn those diets were working!" And now he began pouting a bit. "I guess those guys were lying then when they told me about it. Oh well."

Tear did her best to keep out of reach of this human. It was something she was used to doing, especially since human children and infants tended to be grabby. "You couldn't be a fairy. What human would want to be a fairy?" She had never had to deal with this kind of delusion from a human before.

[He's using his free hand to type back into the PDA. He refuses to let go of her hand, so it takes him a little longer then usual before he holds the PDA out to her.]

[Rapunzel looks ridiculously out of place. She's still wearing the soft, shiny pink dress they'd given her for the celebration after she'd returned, and she's fidgeting with her crown like she doesn't know what to do with it. She's also hopping from foot to foot because being barefoot in the middle of winter is not the greatest idea in the world.]

"I am a fairy!" She pouts and lowers her arms, crossing them over her chest. "I'm a different type from you though, obviously. I can't fly like that and I'm not small. But I'm most definitely a fairy."

[duchy]

He could have, not everyone comes from the same time!

[Lithuania says that with certainty, given his own time-related issues.]

Lithuania, noticing eyes on him, at first shied back a bit--he'd never seen anyone like that before. But when the man addresses him by name, it was only polite to answer.

"Um, I've always been this size."

Lithuania has to fight back the urge to say "sir"--he's sure if this person knows him they're someone from his world, and a country of that size should really be scary, but if it was just a matter of someone else being from the future...

"I'm from the year 1200."

[At the sound of his name being called, Rafiel gracefully makes his way towards Nanami, if only because it seems that in order to move forward, he must play along for now. Once there, he waits for the name calling to be over before speaking up.]

Excuse me.

[ wings. How bizarre. ] Oh. Do you have something to say? Or perhaps you have questions...

"What! But, but that can't be possible!" Unless somehow the people who brought him hear had figured out the secrets of time travel! Something that Al severly doubted to the point where he would probably laugh at anyone who would even mention it.

[duchy]

"That's how it is here," Lithuania said, still quiet. "Um, you know my name, but I don't know yours?"

Time travel, as far as Lithuania was concerned, seemed just as possible as everything else here.

America blinked at the sudden realization before smiling warmly at his future friend. "Oh right! Sorry about that! I'm Alfred F. Jones, or America!" Yes yes, THE America. Lithuania doesn't have to fanboy over him.

[duchy]

"It's nice to meet you, America." Lithuania doesn't show any recognition, though he does smile happily enough, if somewhat warily. "I'm just Lithuania."

He hasn't come up with any sort of human name for himself yet. It hasn't occurred to him to get one.

[Alright he's about sick of not knowing what's going on already and he hasn't been here even fifteen minutes. The only other name on that list that's even slightly familiar or related to him in any conceivable way is Rapunzel, and even then, she's one of Germany's fairytales. What the hell.

He approaches the girl with as much dignity as he can muster, crossing his arms.] ...England present. [Usually he introduces himself to unfamiliar people as Arthur, but...]

So we've been brought to a school?

Then by all means.

Just Lithuania? "What do you mean?" What happened to his human name? Alfred is now at a bit of a loss for words right now. Because not only has he met a tiny, and slightly adorable, Liet. The little guy is claiming that he only has Lithuania for a name.

That would be... correct. I suppose I should be glad you were paying attention, at least.

[duchy]

"I don't have two names like you do, that's all." Lithuania shrugs, looking at him uncertainly. "What would you need two for?"

[Well, it was a pretty obvious statement to make, but give him a break, his bearings aren't exactly aligned with how the rest of the world is turning right now.]

It's rude not to pay attention when someone is speaking to you. [...unless they're French.] Is it too much to ask why? [He thought he was a bit beyond the school age by now.]
