On the platform: New characters and old ones that want to come and meet them!

As you all crowd onto the platform with your new and still bizarre mix of faces, expressions, clothing and wild theories, you are met by two girls. Both are in uniforms that would match if not for the colour differences - skirts, waistcoats, and light summer shirts that seem totally inappropriate for the thin layer of snow and ice coating the station platform. Both have a beret with a crest - one shows a sword, the other a shield.

At the first lull in the chatter, the shorter girl speaks up, her soft voice somehow cutting over you.

"Excuse me,"

She explains, in precise, quiet sentences, that they're prefects, representing the two schools in Rakuen. Nanami of Fortitude, she says, placing a hand on her own collarbone, and Santana of Conquest, here pointing to the taller girl she's leaning against. The girl nods, looking fairly bored.

"We will be sorting you now. When we say your name, please move quickly and quietly to whoever called you."

"Yeah," Santana interrupts, "Then we can go back to the dorms. It's not getting any warmer however many times they make us do this."

They separate, moving to stand several metres apart, and both pull a list from their waistcoat pocket. Alternating, they start to read out your names.

[ Oh, that was her name. Jade wasn't entirely sure what she was supposed to do, but stepping forward seemed to be a good option. The snow was making her bare feet cold, and the ragged shirt she was wearing did nothing to protect her from the chilly temperatures, either.

She stepped forward, rubbing her arms to keep warm. ]

That's my name... [ Her voice trails off. ] Do you, um. Do you have any shoes?

There are shoes in the dormitories. [ for all she has a slight smile, there isn't an ounce of sympathy in her voice. ] You do not seem in any immediate danger... If you would wait here until everyone is gathered, I would appreciate it.

[At the sound of his name being called, Rafiel gracefully makes his way towards Nanami, if only because it seems that in order to move forward, he must play along for now. Once there, he waits for the name calling to be over before speaking up.]

Excuse me.

[ wings. How bizarre. ] Oh. Do you have something to say? Or perhaps you have questions...

[Alright he's about sick of not knowing what's going on already and he hasn't been here even fifteen minutes. The only other name on that list that's even slightly familiar or related to him in any conceivable way is Rapunzel, and even then, she's one of Germany's fairytales. What the hell.

He approaches the girl with as much dignity as he can muster, crossing his arms.] ...England present. [Usually he introduces himself to unfamiliar people as Arthur, but...]

So we've been brought to a school?

Upon hearing her name, she flies over to Santana, and hovers at about eye level. "I'm Tear," she says in a very businesslike tone. For now, she was going along with this. Later on she'd find out what was really going on. She didn't want to look like one of those fairies, anyway.

America enthusiastically bounded over to where he was called. This entire situation was completely new to him, and he figured it would be nice to have some sort of a guide. Plus it may actually help him learn some new faces too! "Hey there, I'm America!" He said in a loud and energetic voice.

[Have a small child tugging at your sleeve] Miss. I am Kotaro. [He didn't know what was going on and he was starting to get scared.] Do you know where my brother is?

When she hears her name, she walks forward with a grin, happly stomping her bare feet into snow as she walks, "I'm Cirno and this isn't THAT bad!"

[Koharu watches from the edge of the platform, clad in the school's uniform, but her hair is pulled back with the clips and ribbons from her magical girl outfit]

...Sora? Yuki? [She suddenly is paying a lot more attention, picking out the red hair and hoping Yuki kept an eye on her.]

-- Koharu! [ have a confused and weirdly-dressed Sora waving at you! ]

[Lithuania, when he'd heard another train, had of course gone to the platform to observe. Now he's lingering around the edges, looking small and shy in Conquest colors, but still perking up and watching anyone else who's going to end up in his school. Not that he ignores the Fortitude newcomers, either; anyone who's interesting gets looked over.]

[Kotaro was starting to get really scared. He was off the train now but his brother still wasn't here, and he knew he couldn't stay in the sun very long. He see's a boy who looks close to his age and goes to stand near him. If he stays in one place his brother will be able to find him quicker.]

And now the little guy has America staring at him. It couldn't be...could it? There was no way with how small he is and everything. "Lithuania? Dude when did you get so tiny?" Seriously what happened to his Lithuanian bro!

[Dave is in the school uniform shivering quite a bit and scowling a little. He rather be back in the dorms right now. His tolerance with the cold was jack shit, and being out here was fucking terrible. Still, the hopes that someone he recognized outweighed staying warm. They could just quickly move to the dorms after anyways.

He looked around at all the new faces, hoping to see a familiar one. He didn't pay attention to the names being called. He couldn't remember the names of his friends. Dave had to rely on his friends faces.]

[ She doesn't remember what her friends look like. So it stands to reason that the malnourished, shoeless girl walking past him doesn't even know who he is. But Dave might recognize her -- the buckteeth and glasses, a ragged shirt with an atom symbol on it.

She stops to yawn. God, she's so tired and lost. ]

[Rapunzel looks ridiculously out of place. She's still wearing the soft, shiny pink dress they'd given her for the celebration after she'd returned, and she's fidgeting with her crown like she doesn't know what to do with it. She's also hopping from foot to foot because being barefoot in the middle of winter is not the greatest idea in the world.]

[Well guess who was stepping off the train Dave Strider? She was confused, only a little. Adjusting her shades. Dammit she's twenty degrees of confused- and it's cold.

This doesn't sit well with her.

No matter. Sis tries to keep her cool even looking around.]

[ Ruka has come to see the people on the platform. The air is cold and she wears the red and white of Conquest; the uniform shorts and skirt are too cold, so she wears the pants. She looks for someone familiar and waits to maybe be approached. She doesn't think she sees anyone... ]

[Kanji's so tall and lanky it's easy to see over everyone's head around here, and he's so preoccupied looking around once he's off the train that while taking a step backwards he doesn't take in the fact Ruka's behind him. Knocking into her, only then does he bring his eyes down.] Oy, watch... where you're standing.

[ John, in his awe of looking around and watching all the people, totally missed the fact that people were being sorted into schools, since he couldn't hear it. It's only when everybody's leaving that he realises he has no idea what's going on. Nor, apparently, does he have his sylladex, which means he doesn't have his notebook which means unless people around here can sign, he can't communicate with anyone.

Uh. Shit. Maybe he should've tried to talk to people on the train instead of napping and staring out the window. That was stupid.

...Anyone want to help the lost-looking Fortitude kid figure out what he's supposed to be doing? ]

[She'd recognize that mess of hair anywhere. She hesitates, because she died and she feels like a failure after she sent him that huge speech about how she was going to beat Jack. She hangs back, eyes trained on him closely as she listens to the new students being called. When he doesn't move, she figures it's a good a time as any to approach him.]

Hey Egbert, quit standing around daydreaming!

[She reaches out to grab his shoulder, though her grip is a little more tentative than she wanted it to be. Damn it, where is her confidence right now? This is stupid. She tries to make up for with the smug grin she's got plastered on her face. Hey, she can fake it, at least.]
