[ Gamzee comes, of course he does; he wouldn't pass up a chance to talk with his wicked fishsis. He's got a wild grin on, makeup still a mess on his face, and he glances her up and down. ] Stil the same as ever, ain't you?

[None of that surprises her.] And aside from your messages, you look the same as you ever did. Might want to get the makeup out of your hair, though.

[And then she puts a hand on her hip, looking him straight in the eye before saying anything else.]

His smile flickers a moment, and he stands up a little straighter. He doesn't make a move to get any closer, though, and stares straight back, grin fading a little. "What kinda games are you wantin' to play? Or d'you just wanna have a little chat?"

"We're going to have a talk, Gamzee. Highblood to highblood."

Feferi takes a step closer, straightening her spine and holding her head higher than she normally does.

"You know who I am. The Heiress to the Alternian throne. And as the Heiress, I am going to make it clear: no more bloodshed under my watch. A Subjugglator you may be born to be, but this is not that time and not that place."

He tries to keep his face as passive as he can, but he ends up scowling anyways. He bristles but keeps his eyes on her, silent. Under her watch. He longs to snarl at her, or maybe try tearing out her throat, but a feeling of unease curls in his stomach. She's higher than him. And that, that makes anger brew in him as well, but he doesn't act on it. Instincts scream no, because look at her, think of her color; shouldn't he respect her, the Heiress, at least hold his tongue for now?

Gamzee is silent only a second longer before speaking, his voice clear. "Hey, Feferi," he places emphasis on her name, as he rarely calls anyone by their names directly. "Maybe. I like you better this way; ain't you acting like you finally should?"

"I'm acting the way I have to, right now." The words hurt, the 'liking her better like this'. But even a merciful Empress needed to be stern sometimes. That helped, a little.

"I am merely doing what needs to be done. It's the role of anyone in my position, Gamzee."

He chuckles and shakes his head. "Sure thing, sis, whatever you say. You really shouldn't even be carin' bout those humans... unless... you're just worrying about your weapon and yourself, right?" He grins.
