Round Two start: Conquest School

Just like last Sunday; when characters wake up the next morning there will be an announcement on all the screens. "Please report to the lobby at 12 noon for important information about this round." Any who fail, refuse or get lost are found by Santana and taken swiftly to the lobby.

Day is stood on the small raised podium again, this time eating a plum. Santana sits next to her. "So it's been an exciting week," she starts with a grin, she looks like she is in a good mood. Still her face turns stern for a moment as she speaks. "Because I would much rather focus on positive things I am going to get the negative out of the way first." She fixes them with a level stare. "Rules." As she begins speaking some members of the audience will begin to get a headache. Suzaku, Golbez, Homura and others who have broken the rules this week. The headache intensifies as Day continues speaking.

"Rules are on page nine of the player handbook which you all have been given. Any one who cannot read may request a copy be sent to their PDA, an advanced PDA will read the rules to you. there is no excuse for breaking them they are there for a reason!" She smiled, the pain went away from the affected character's minds.

"Now we have put those unpleasantries aside. I would like to congratulate you on what was a truly wonderful round!" She grinned looking like an excited kid, "As you may have guessed from the extra raks you received Conquest won this round and you may all be incredibly proud of yourselves!"

On the screen behind her the Battle records for Conquest and the Interschool battles that they had fought were shown. She read the conquest battle records first.

"Aqua vs Golbez, congratulations Aqua. Homura Akemi vs Lithuania, congratulations Lithuania, Aisha Clan Clan vs Feferi Piexes, congratulations Aisha." She smiled at the crowd.

"Also in fighting Fortitude you all did brilliantly, congratulations to Lithuania, who fought Shion and won, Homura Akemi who fought Shion and won, Feferi Peixes who fought Kotarou and won, Aisha Clanclan who fought Dave Strider and won, Homura Akemi who fought Dave Strider and won and to Lithuania who fought Spain and won." She is positively beaming by now.

"Finally I would like us all to offer our congratulations to Lithuania for being the only Round Winner of last round. A round of applause please!" She waited until the clapping died down before adding, "I hope those who are players this next round follow his example and fight as hard as he did."

The battle records disappear. "Next I welcome our new students who joined us yesterday, I am sure you are pleased to know that you truly joined the superior school. Now I have here the list of those chosen to be Players this round, for those who have just joined us this means these students and teachers are the only persons with rights this week. The rest of you have no rights, you may be granted rights by being owned by a Player." She smiled at them again, this time her smile was a little less than friendly.

"To own a weapon you must vow to them, you know the vow has worked when they receive a sword mark on their hand," she held her own hand up to show to new ones what it looked like. She took another bite of plum. "Players may give their Weapons permission to access the school facilities, and to eat from the full cafeteria menu among other things. If you haven't got a Player then you are a Discard, make sure you know all the rules and do exactly what Santana tells you to. There is no school today but I suggest you use the time to vow to Weapons if you are a Player or find a Player if you are a Weapon. School is Monday to Friday starting 8am sharp. All this is in your manual; please read it."

Her excited grin was back, "So those chosen to continue winning this week are:

"I can't think of anything easier to do then take over than the hopeless."

There wasn't really a right or wrong answer to that, was there? "You're right about that too, but I'm not sure what that is. For now the Player can at least protect people, and if the Player's a kid, I think there's a charm . . . that lets the Player and weapon switch during battle."

Suzaku nodded, that was true. When people were hopeless they were easier to take control of, he had witnessed that himself. He had not heard of the charm but he nodded. "The only reason I do not mind being a player, is I can protect those who are not." He told her truthfully.

"You're more noble than I am. I just like to fight, but I don't mind letting people just hang out with me either. Everyone should be able to eat good food and do what they want." Aisha laughed and clasped his hand. It seemed as good of a time to as any. Her grip was rather strong, rather like a soldier's than a happy girl's.

"Aisha Clanclan! It's nice to meet you . . . Suzaku, right?"

"I agree with that," he nodded, the latter that was. Whereas he didn't mind fighting, found it exhilarating even, he had a fight that he had left behind in coming here, and they needed to get back to it. He took her hand, "Nice to meet you Aisha Clanclan, Suzaku Kururugi yes."

She did too, but it wasn't on her mind because she didn't remember it. Tricky, those memories. She smiled and shook his hand, was vaguely reminded of something that probably wasn't all that important.

"We'll figure this place out. And boy I'll be glad to knock the smirks off of their," and she gestures to their headmistress and prefect's - "Faces, won't you?"

Suzaku nodded, "They need to be shown that they cannot treat us this way." He was feeling a little better, it was good to know that others wished to fight this system.

"Exactly! I mean, if they're going to make us fight each other we can at least be treated like equals." Good. She likes making feel people, here. It makes her feel better about being stuck.

"If you find anything interesting, let me know? It might be best to do it in person in case someone's watching the network."

Suzaku nodded, "I think it is safe to assume they are. Do you have a Player yet Aisha?"

She shook her head. "Not yet, but I'm gonna go see if Gino wants to do the team thing again, since he looks like he's about to die of happiness over there."

Yes, that is a slight note of embarrassment you hear. Slightly hypocritical, but there none the less.

Suzaku's face darkened at the mention of Gino but he nodded and looked over, he really did look in his element, which did not surprise Suzaku in the slightest.

"I will see you around then I guess," he nodded at her again.

Aisha didn't notice, or she would have asked about it, curious thing that she was. She nodded back and waved.

"You sure will! Try not to worry about things so much~"

"I wont, thank you." He nodded at her politely, not feeling as bad about being a player as he had done. He could protect people this way, including Lelouch if he found out who had him as a weapon and fought them.
