Characters: Aisha Clanclan and . . . the Mayor?
Format: Prose, I guess?
This log is: Closed
Location: The mayor's house.
Summary: Aisha decides to take another visit to off-limits property. Man, that's popular with the White 1-A crowd.
Warnings: Not that I can think of?Aisha slipped off after her last class, telling Gino she'd be back in a few hours. She was curious about a few things, and couldn't just let that stand, as it was.
So, basket in hand, she knocked on the door to the Mayor's mansion. It was off-limits and all, but she wasn't trying to attack or do anything aggressive, for once. What kind of Mayor wouldn't talk to a citizen of their city? As the scent of fresh cheddar biscuits (yes, working in a restaurant had advantages sometimes) wafted in the air, she wondered if she'd even get an answer.
Even if she didn't, it wouldn't keep her from coming back. After all, it's not like she had much else to do.

Lee dragged her thoughts away from Karish. There was no point worrying about him, she was still alive which meant that he was still alive, even if she knew no more than that. Missing people who she was never going to see again was just a waste of emotion, unhealthy. She had better things to think about, like the fact she had another rulebreaker.
"Day and Santana are really slack," was her greeting as she opened the door, "Or did they forget to hand out the rulebooks?"

"Aisha just wants to know what's going on, and this seems like a good place to start. Why's this place off-limits? You really hate visitors that much?"
If the mayor was annoyed, it really didn't bother her. Really, she's sure that she's deal with worse. Pirates trying to kill you and all that.

She ignored the question for now, since niceties should always come first, it was only polite.

The house is nice at least, and Aisha gracelessly plops down on a couch. She can be polite, but that fact's escaped her. "Lemonade, if it's not too much trouble! I love lemonade!"

She took the drinks through to the other room, "So how may I help you... Aisha was it?"

She took a swig of the lemonade and gave the mayor a thumbs up. "This stuff is great! Okay, I guess this will work better a question at a time. You're not from around here either, right? Why did you get roped up in all this?"

"I arrived much like you did," she began, "Exactly the same on the train, about a year ago now."

Aisha scrunched her nose, trying to make sense of this. Yes, the mayor was supposed to have the answers. Wasn't that the point of being all mayorish? "So are you guys for us or against us, honestly? I promise I won't try to attack you or anything."
no subject
"We are for you. Always. Even though it wont always seem that way. Sometimes you will hate us. But remember that, we are on your side."
no subject
"So what went wrong? Or right? I mean, there's not a whole lot of people here besides us now."

"But you're still stuck here, how's that fair?"

"You did make sure they thanked you, right?"

Final battles had the disadvantage of being dangerous, and Lee didn't just have her own life to preserve.
Damn Karish.
"Of course, do you believe Lopez would sacrifice herself for anyone without due recognition?"
