Conquest Class | The Most Difficult Class

Characters: Prussia and anyone
Format: Open (action or prose, I'll respond to whichever you use)
This log is: open
Location: Conquest classroom
Summary: Prussia attempts to teach about military strategies, all the while, she can't remember the names of her fellow German nations.
Warnings: "enthusiastic" teaching methods
Before Class

Prussia is sitting on her desk, one leg crossed over the other. She's wearing a rather girly outfit with impossibly tall boots.

The blackboard is covered in chalk drawings of little stick figures in square shapes. Some are labeled "ME!" others are labeled "Other Person". Anyone who has ever seen a drawing of a battle, should recognize it as such, though it may be difficult to place the exact battle.

If you approach her she will be quite willing to talk to you. Enthusiastic, too. She does enjoy teaching.

Start of Class

Once people have entered she will jump off the desk. You may get a peek of her panties. She will grin at the class, "Welcome to mein Awesome class! You get the rare pleasure of learning military strategy from me! So we'll start with this battle!"

She will then point to the above mentioned drawings and draw chalk lines to indicate movements and such, saying things like, "And then I did this!" or "She did this, so I did that!" Every time she tries to remember the name of one of her siblings she'll pause and then say, "Meine Schwester."

End of Class

"Homework will be an essay on why Old Fritz's awesome strategy of the Battle of Mollwitz worked!"

She really is enthusiastic about teaching. If you stay after class and ask questions or just want to chat, she will be drawing other battle diagrams.

Koizumi was playing the part of a model student. He sat quietly through class, taking copious notes and deliberately not asking why she insisted on referring to countries as family members. He'd gotten used to all the not-really-counties-but-something-similar wandering around-- he was capable of accepting all sorts of weirdness by now-- but a history class was neither the time nor the place for it. It would only serve to confuse people.

Still, there was no trace of disapproval in his smile when he approached her at the end of class.

"Ms. Maria? Do you have a moment?"
mysterioustransferstudent: (Watching over you)

"I was wondering if, you could tell me about strategy on a smaller scale? I understand the importance of history, but close-combat strategy may be more relevant to our daily life, given the way that the Exaclan system functions. Perhaps you know of some outside reading I could do?"

His interest in military history was lukewarm at best, but he was a practical young man.
mysterioustransferstudent: (Oh dear.)

"Oh?" A spark of curiosity lent his smile a rare sincerity. "Wonderful! I look forward to it."

But the sincerity was instantly gone as he furrowed his brow in a theatrical show of bemusement.

"It seems as if my weapon is a shield but I suppose I should learn others' weapons. I can hardly fight with my own, after all. Though I don't know where to start with weapons, really... I've never used any weapon at all."

A lie. Still, he was far from an expert, and it was entirely unnecessary to step out of his harmless young gentleman persona. Martial arts, hmm? It couldn't hurt to read a book or two...
mysterioustransferstudent: (You must be joking)

He cringed a little.

"Ah yes. I'm aware of its use as a bludgeoning tool." He could hardly forget Sherlock beating the zombie from with his soul. It may be effective, but it did seem unnecessarily crude. And it left frog guts. In his soul.

"Martial arts and swords it is, then. Thank you." In some childish and embarassing corner of his mind, the combination evoked the image of himself as some shonen hero, swashbuckling his way to glory with flashy swordsmanship and gratuitous gravity-defying kung fu, but he pushed it aside.

"If you'll forgive my curiosity, what weapon do you favour?"
