After tournament party

Characters: Everyone!
Format: Whatever your heart desires!
This log is: Open party log!
Location: Battle Arena
Summary: On Saturday afternoon after the train arrives there is a festival and a presentation of the tournament winners!
Warnings:
Saturday was sunny if a little cold but once again the battle arena was bursting with people. Unlike in the week though everyone was out on the arena field itself, stalls had been set up for games or silly competitions. More tents and stalls sold foods, some which might be familiar to those living in the schools and some that would not be.

At one end there was a stage set up where the six staff members sat, people mingled, ate and discussed the tournament until Dunleavy finally stood to address the crowd.

"I hope that everyone enjoyed the tournament. Today is to celebrate and to reward the winners. Everyone did very well, so please show your appreciation to all those that participated Players and Weapons both."

The townspeople cheered and clapped waving flags of the two schools. "All our winners are from Conquest so congratulations to Conquest for the victory." More cheering; on the stage Day looked smug but proud as well, proud of her students.

Once all the prizes had been given out the stage cleared and a small band entered. Dunleavy wished goodbye to the other staff members before retreating to her mansion. It was unfair to Dolorosa and Recette to expect them to watch her when they should be having fun and it really wasn't a celebration without music.

Her understanding doesn't make him feel any better, he lost, there was no victory in this, but he knew better than to talk back to her. She seemed to be the one in power here, and it may be best to align himself with her in some way, something that cannot be done if he's constantly disagreeing with her. (Then again, that is pretty much how Merlin aligned himself with Arthur...)

"Thank you, I will graciously accept my prize, and I look forward to future tournaments."
