So.

Gino has been spending his time wisely since he found out what subject he was expected to teach. He's been paying visits to the shops, claiming all of the leftover clothes and accessories from anywhere that'll believe that he has prefect permission to get them for free. A few shops probably didn't believe him, but gave him the stuff anyway. It's just easier that way, and it got him out of their shop.

So when you arrive in class - hah, 'arrive'. No, when you are dragged kicking and screaming in the class and placed bodily on the far side of the room next to the rows of hangers and tubs of belts and jewellery and then shoved off-balance so you can't cross the room in time to escape before he locks the door - you are met with a vast array of fashion choices.

And a row of changing stalls rigged up from spare curtains and screens, and probably what used to be town washing lines. When he's cheerfully hunted down as many people as he can, Gino returns, locks the door behind him again - because hell, he's not getting punished for not teaching - and spreads his arms wide.

"Welcome to Fashion class! Ha, took a while to get you all here, but c'mon. It's an easy class. All you've gotta do is get out of those uniforms and into the stuff you find in there," he gestures to the piles and rows, "and if you look good, you pass!"

"And you're not a real Britannian, but hey." He placed himself between Suzaku and the door with cheerful aplomb. "C'mon, man."

Suzaku spent a short while blinking at Gino. Of course he had heard such things before, all the time. He had heard Gino saying such things as well, and worse.

But Gino had never said anything like that to him before. Of course a part of Suzaku hissed that it was all Suzaku's fault, he had tried to kill his fellow knight after all.

"I never claimed I was." He tried to shove pass Gino using far more force than was strictly necessary.

Yeah, he never really said it because he didn't really give two hoots about it. But. The short while of blinking was exactly what Gino had been after: it had given him the time to brace himself. And a nineteen-year-old Gino was somewhat heavier and less gawky. Slightly less. It made him even harder to shove, something he was now using mercilessly.

"Students should stay in class, Su-za-ku."

Annoyed that Gino was proving difficult to shove Suzaku glared at him, "You're not a teacher. Let me out." Another shove.

"Am too," he managed a sing-song voice even as he was shoved again. "Check the schedules. Look, man. I'm not letting you out."

"You're not even eighteen." He shoves again. "I'm not staying here." He stops shoving realising it is useless.

"You're forgetful lately. I'm nineteen. Say it with me. Niiiine-teeeen."

Nineteen... no he was definitely seventeen because Suzaku was eighteen and Gino a year younger than him...

"You're seventeen Gino, younger than me remember." And surely Suzaku would realise if he was all of a sudden twenty, and he had been put with the students, the under eighteens...

"Seventeen was back in the Black Rebellion, man. Two years ago! If I was seventeen, I wouldn't be Knight of One. Or," and he highlights this with a prod to Suzaku's chest, "Your teacher!"

"Two years..." No, Suzaku couldn't have forgotten two years... could he. He had no headache though... He shook his head, "But I am still eighteen..." At least... he thought he was and the school claimed he was.

"You're probably from one of those time things Santana was talkin' about," He waved it away, but paused, "Hey, that makes sense. They never did find you after the Battle of Damocles... maybe that's 'cause you were here!"

Suzaku blinked, they never found him? The Battle of Damocles... that wasn't over yet. Suzaku had been taking out FLEIJA and then... he couldn't remember anything until waking up on the train...

"But I arrived the same time as you..."

"Here, sure. But you're sure not... how old'd you be? Twenty? You'd be a teacher like me!"

"I'm still eighteen," he said with a frown, "At least, according to this school I am still a student." None of this made sense in the slightest.

"Right?" That seemed to decide it for Gino. He grinned again, and put one hand on Suzaku's shoulder to turn him around and push him back to class while he was confused. "Which means you're trying to skip class."

"What?" Suzaku frowned, "You're not serious?"

Because really, Suzaku could sort of understand if the school had mixed Gino up for a teacher, he was incredibly tall after all. He could even believe that he himself had had two years of memories taken away from him. But Gino was teaching fashion?

"Fashion isn't even a school subject? And how do you qualify as a teacher? Did you even finish school?"

Never mind that Suzaku never had, he wasn't the one pretending to be a fashion teacher here.

"I've been to the other classes here," Gino pointed out, still pushing. "It's pretty cool, but none of us are teaching normal stuff."

That's not finishing school Gino. Suzaku shrugged, "It's a strange school, I am still not participating in your fashion class."
