1) Pretty much everyone he's ever talked to gets a hand-made Valenti-- er, that is, Red Day card. It's just construction paper and markers, but he put his heart in it.
2) Dave [AU], Jade [AU], Vriska, both Karkats, and Sis all get extra-special ones with stickers and glitter. And also apples.
3) Jade [AU] also gets a drawing of her, Dave, and John. It's not really great, but it's not horrible, and he signed it with a heart, so it's the thought that counts, right?
4) Dave [AU]... well, he bought link charms, but then realised that then Jade would feel left out and you can only link with one person, so he hid them in the bottom of his bag and is just giving Dave an extra apple.
5) Vriska also get a little piece of paper that says "Valid for One (1) rest day with John doing whatever you want".

[Oh. That's cool. Dave also might have made a card for John. It isn't that greatly made. But it looks like there was some effort.

But he can dig all this apple bullcrap. He isn't sure why he appreciates the apples so much, but he does.

HOPEFULLY YOU LIKE THIS SHITTILY MADE CARD. And a cupcake. Dave made cupcakes. It's the only thing he knows how to make since Yuki taught him.]

[ HOPY CRAP THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER. Don't mind John, he's just going to nosh on this cupcake. He's not the fondest of baked goods, but damn, Dave made it for him! ]

[That's cool. Dave is going to town on the apples. How come he didn't eat these more often? Is apple juice just as good? He feels like he should know that.

[ Once he's polished off the cupcake, John makes sure he doesn't have frosting on him, and slings an arm around Dave's neck in a hug.

[She is staring at this little Red Day card like it's slapping her in the face. It's just so forward, she wasn't sure John had it in him. But she has to do deal with this... This red thing she's holding for now.]

John. [She looks at the card again, before looking back up at him.] Is this a red solicitation?

[ John blinks, and tilts his head a little bit in confusion. He signs without even really thinking about it, though slightly awkwardly due to the big bag full of valentines and apples. ]

[She knows enough to understand that at least, but not enough to reply comfortably yet. Give her time, she'll eventually get to it now that Dave is giving her lessons again.]

[ John's eyes go wide and he shakes his head emphatically. WHERE'S HIS PDA? Oh there it is. ]
