On the platform: Meet the new characters!

As you all crowd onto the platform and peer through the thick fog that chills the air, you are met by four girls and five boys. One of the girls is a somewhat humanoid grey-skinned, finned alien, but the rest all seem human. All nine are in uniforms that would match if not for the colour differences - skirts and trousers, waistcoats, and light summer shirts that seem totally inappropriate for the dense fog. They're all sodden and cold, and most are irritable. Each has a beret with a crest pinned to the front - three depicting a shield on green, the other six a sword on red.

At the first lull in the chatter, one sickly-pale, shield-crested girl speaks up, cutting through your conversations with her cold, soft voice.

"Attention, please."

She explains that the nine of them are the current prefects of Rakuen, representing the two schools on the island. Nanami, she points to herself, Yuri and Lelouch of Fortitude; and Santana, Flynn, Feferi, Gino, Nephenee and Kevin of Conquest. She doesn't care to explain why the prefects in red and white outnumber those in green and black two to one.

Santana interrupts, "Yeah, yeah. Look, come over when your name is called so we can all get inside." They all move to stand in two groups some distance away from each other, and the two that spoke read off names from their clipboards.

he doesn't have that much more henning to add to Yuki's, so he just ducks under one of Yuri's arms to help him stand. And then shoots Yuki a look. ]

[I don't have a matching response to that so I'm just going to ignore it.]

I'm fine. [Yuri protests as he tries to pull his arm back, succeeding only partially because if he yanks away from Flynn, he'll go barreling into Yuki.] I just stood up too fast.

[But Flynn has a point in that question and so he echoes the look at Yuki.]

[Yuki catches him again, but not without being knocked back a few steps and almost losing her balance completely in the process. She keeps a hold on him for as long as he'll let her, and hopes that Flynn will once again try to help him stand. Yuki isn't as strong as she's pretending to be.]

I told you not to push yourself.

[Oh. Yeah. About that. FUNNY STORY]

Oh, um, where I'm from we had a game just like the one here. Pulling weapons out of chests and fighting, that is. But only females were Weapons, and males were Players besides Sora who was trying to save us all.

Of course you did. [ sorry biffle, you're getting half-carried. This time he firmly pulls you up so you're leaning against him, because the alternative is you landing on Yuki again and that won't go well. ]

[ He nods encouragement for Yuki to continue even as his eyebrows lift at the idea of the game dividing men and women. ]

[Oh come on guys, it was just a headache. (A headache that nearly made him pass out and is still giving him vertigo, but hey. Details.)

Yuri gives maybe one tug against Flynn's hold before giving up, knowing full well how stubborn the knight can be. (Pot calling the kettle black.) So, instead, he leans on the blonde and tries to justify the support by saying it's punishment for the other guy being so pushy. Truth be told, though, he kind of appreciates it because his knees are still feeling a little weak as his head pounds like a mother.

And he'll just listen to Yuki.]

[She goes quiet and just concentrates on keeping Yuri up, it's easier to not talk about everything that happened to her back home]
