[The star had took them by surprise but not so much as the creature that appeared from within it. As it descended to ground, which had started rumbling Suzaku was ready to defend everyone as best he could. Dave and Gino could both fight and were Players and armed as well. Lelouch was letting the rest of the city know. Help would come soon hopefully and they could stop this thing before it left the arena.]

Suzaku Kururugi [He ignores the idiot comment. Insults don't really bother him especially when they aren't really aimed at him and they have bigger things to worry about.] I am a Player this round, I can draw your Weapon and then you can fight.

[She accepts it and puts it around her foream like an armband.] Thank you, Golbez. [She flies so she's at eye level and looks him sternly in the eye.] Don't hold back on my account. I'm going to Recette, they took her into the mayor's mansion.

[ Welp, shit. Positioning himself in front of Rose, Dirk holds the needles as though they were daggers. As soon as the wyrm heads for them, he leaps, bringing them up to strike. They won't slice like blades will, but they should still work for stabbing. ]

[They hit and seem to annoy the wyrm more than anything, it roars and slams its tail into the ground, sending shock-waves Dirk's way.]

[At Lelouch's announcement Shion had made his way to the battle arena, he knew he wouldn't be any help but it didn't stop him going. Dave was there he knew, and Jade and they might need help.

If nothing else he could help if anyone got injured... maybe. Probably not...]

[Kotaro had rushed to the arena as fast as he could, he was a Player and that meant he had to fight. He stood at the entrance with wide eyes, that was a scary monster!

He felt very small but was determined, he looked round for Davesprite or Sam.]

That's it. [He reached out with his gloved hand, Kanda's chest began to glow and Suzaku reached into the light, drawing out the katana. He handed it to Kanda.] Here.

[What exactly could Kanda do? He just stared for a long moment and didn't bother to move when his chest started glowing and a sword was extracted.]

[No time to explain, huge wyrm to fight. Suzaku had Lelouch's sword and he turned as the wyrm started towards them.] Ready?

[ Looks a little windblown; she's trying to find Dave, but it hasn't worked yet. ]

He still had Jade's Weapons in his hands, but holy shit, how did he lose her? He is pretty much the best (read: worst) Player. He glances around, cautiously. While he didn't mind fighting, he was tired. But that is a huge ass monster and not fighting just seemed like a pansy's way out. And Striders did not deny a strife. Ever.]
