[The star had took them by surprise but not so much as the creature that appeared from within it. As it descended to ground, which had started rumbling Suzaku was ready to defend everyone as best he could. Dave and Gino could both fight and were Players and armed as well. Lelouch was letting the rest of the city know. Help would come soon hopefully and they could stop this thing before it left the arena.]

[ Golbez had left Conquest's campus for the arena as soon as he'd finished reading Lelouch's post. What had that boy done now? ]

[Yuri, who was already headed for Conquest since he needs Golbez to do anything, manages to intercept the other part way there.

The look on his face? A mix of apprehension and exasperation that might have a slight tinge of anticipation.]

Any guesses what it is? [Yuri asks as he falls in line with Golbez so that they don't have to stop their walk towards the arena.]

A monster. [ no kidding ] It doesn't matter what it is. We simply need to destroy it before it can cause any damage.

[ As they walk, he puts his glove on, then reaches over and pulls Yuri's sword from his chest. ]

[The warning is minimal enough that Yuri's steps falter slightly when Golbez does so, frowning slightly as the nausea quickly passes. When it's gone, he resumes the brisk pace, eyeing the star that appears over his weapon when Golbez drew it.

[Yuri spares a moment to check his PDA, having sent a text to Flynn early on when he heard the humming that seemed to stretch across the entire city. When he sees he still has no reply, he can only assume the knight will appear as quickly as he's able.

That complete, he shoves it back into his pocket and begins equipping the rings, favoring dual-wielding among the five. When he comes down light, overlimit and prism barrier which negates the former two, he holds the three up between his fingers to show Golbez.]

Not Prism Barrier. This thing might have an elemental weakness that someone can exploit.

He pulls out Tear's mace, and relaxes just slightly when no headache strikes him. ]

[ He reaches into his pocket to pull out his own. Ah... That one might come in handy. He takes the Lightning Rod ring and hands it to Tear. ] Perhaps you can wear this around your neck.

[She accepts it and puts it around her foream like an armband.] Thank you, Golbez. [She flies so she's at eye level and looks him sternly in the eye.] Don't hold back on my account. I'm going to Recette, they took her into the mayor's mansion.
