Meet and Greet [Intro #2]

You are brought to your campus and shown to your dorm rooms before you are given permission to wander the campus and the town. Meaning Fortitude students can mingle with Conquest students, they can go visit the shop (shop post will be up later today), or speak to the headmistresses and mayor. Each student now has the Exaclan manuals, a uniform, a school bag with either a shield or a sword on it, and the glove used to pull weapons.

But make sure to come to the battle area later to see the exhibition match! 

Take advantage of the free day, the freedom won't last long. Sooner rather than the later the round will start, Players will be named, Weapons will lose their privileges, and the battles will begin. So you might as well go out and make friend or start rivalries, anything to help you along later in the round.

[Estonia is doing her valiant best to appear unphased by the mess she's been thrown into. Inner storm, outer calm, if nothing else, because she's freaking out, just a little. She's still carrying around the rule book from her bag, and flips through it every so often, as if the words will reveal something to her. Eventually, they will, she's certain. It's just a matter of knowing exactly what she's looking for and how to use it.

For the moment, she'll be exploring, and perhaps not-so-subtly staring at the computer room, whens she comes across it, in awe.]

[Lithuania is having a similar reaction to the computers but for the somewhat different reason of having never seen anything like those in his life.

As it is, he'll sneak between her legs and pad inside to compare the PDA he bought from Recette (for the sole reason it seemed neat) to the computers, since they're... A little similar, sort of. Anyway, he's poking the computer like he can't decide if he wants to break it open to look inside or press all the buttons.]

Oh, you have a miniature one!

[This is Estonia, these are her priorities. Give her a moment to actually register the kid, and--]

Lithuania?!

[duchy]

Oh, I--

[He becomes much more startled when the woman calls out his name like that, and he immediately pockets the PDA to take a few steps back, as if he's used to having someone call his name so dramatically immediately lead to a fight.

Well, he does live next to the Teutonic Knights.]

Um. Yes?

[She's less concerned with the thing's reaction to her shouting and more concerned with how tiny Lithuania is. What brief encounters she'd had with her sort-of-neighbour at that size before were a long time ago. And so now she'll do her version of freaking out, squatting to be at eye-level with him (who, coincidentally, Estonia believes to be a "her").]

What sort of trouble did you get yourself into now?

[duchy]

[Lithuania glances around quickly, judging the room. She's blocking the only exit. The woman doesn't seem like she's trying to hurt him, though, at least not for now. He stays where he is.]

What do you mean? Um. Ma'am.

[If she knew his name right off the bat, after all, she could very well be another country, and a country this big had to be dangerous. Best to be polite.]

You've shrunken. [Estonia says it like it's Lithuania's fault, like something he's done has made this happen. It's a good cover for how badly she's freaking out.]

And since when do you call me ma'am, Leedu, really? It's just me.

[duchy]

[Lithuania backs up even more. There's not an ounce of recognition in his eyes. His tone is very quiet and unsure of himself.]

U-um, I don't know your name.

[independencesong]

[That gives her pause for a moment, although she's still panicking. Perhaps whatever happened to Lithuania physically was also a mental shift.]

Estonia. Estija. You know, to the east and north?

[shakes]

[This shaking might look very familiar.

Latvia is sitting in a rather obvious spot in a much-frequented place in the hope that Estonia happens to pass by - please pass by, how is he supposed to deal with a tiny Lithuania all by himself?]

[independencesong]

[She walks by, then doubles back to eye the shaking thing uncertainly. Lithuania being male? Totally something she can deal with. Her precious little sister being male? Slightly harder. So while she'll address who she can only assume is Latvia, she'll look hugely uncomfortable.]

... Läti?

[shakes]

I-Igaunija!

[Hug-clinging. Hard. He's not even noticing all the obvious differences just yet, too busy just clinging to the only older not!sibling who is actually still older.]

[independencesong]

[Oh, hello. Way to make Estonia freak out.]

What are you doing?!

[She has both of her arms up, away from Latvia, because she doesn't love hugs on the best of days and on the worst of days, from someone who is at least in some regards a complete stranger, she would rather throw herself into their Sea.]

[shakes]

I w-was scared that you wouldn't b-be here and Liethuania is t-tiny, he i-isn't even Christian yet I th...ink and I cannot find Mr Russia b-but what if he is here do you think h-he will be very mad even if I tell him that I t-tried to find him?

[NO way she's getting him to let go of her anytime soon.]

[independencesong]

Ignore her. Him. Russia doesn't matter and everything will be fine, regardless of time variations or how young Lithaunia is.

[After a moment, Estonia sighs and relents, settling one hand reluctantly on Latvia's back and patting his head with the other. Maybe that will make him let go.]

[shakes]

[It's definitely calming Latvia down, so it should work out eventually. Well, except for the whole thing where Estonia just suggested a rebellion. Normally being suicidal that way is Lithuania's job.]

...b-but we cannot j-just ignore him!

[independencesong]

Yes, we can. Russia's not here, neither of them, so their opinion is of no importance. [She keeps up the patting, gradually adjusting to the similiarities between the Latvias, if nothing else. It's still highly uncomfortable and should never happen again, though.]

Don't you trust me?

[straightupzorra]

[Santana sees her going through the rule book and decides she can spare a few minutes to answer any questions]

Need help with that?

[independencesong]

I'm not the only one who finds the whole thing completely ridiculous, am I? [She gestures with the book, so there's no mistaking it's the battle stuff she's finding the most ridiculous here.]

[straightupzorra]

No, I agree with you. It's pretty freaking ridiculous, but after a while it becomes second nature, or even fun. You'll get used to it, just don't whine about it.

[independencesong]

You've been here long enough that you don't want to complain about it any longer?

[straightupzorra]

I've been here almost a year, yes, I'm tired of people whining and complaining about being here.

[independencesong]

You don't want to go home?

[straightupzorra]

Of course I want to go home, but I'm sure everyone has moved on by now or figured I'm dead and started to grieve me. I've been here for so long that I'm so tired of people complaining. Just deal with it!
