On the platform: New characters and old ones that want to come and meet them!

As you all crowd onto the platform with your new and still bizarre mix of faces, expressions, clothing and wild theories, you are met by two girls. Both are in uniforms that would match if not for the colour differences - skirts, waistcoats, and light summer shirts that seem totally inappropriate for the thin layer of snow and ice coating the station platform. Both have a beret with a crest - one shows a sword, the other a shield.

At the first lull in the chatter, the shorter girl speaks up, her soft voice somehow cutting over you.

"Excuse me,"

She explains, in precise, quiet sentences, that they're prefects, representing the two schools in Rakuen. Nanami of Fortitude, she says, placing a hand on her own collarbone, and Santana of Conquest, here pointing to the taller girl she's leaning against. The girl nods, looking fairly bored.

"We will be sorting you now. When we say your name, please move quickly and quietly to whoever called you."

"Yeah," Santana interrupts, "Then we can go back to the dorms. It's not getting any warmer however many times they make us do this."

They separate, moving to stand several metres apart, and both pull a list from their waistcoat pocket. Alternating, they start to read out your names.

Upon hearing her name, she flies over to Santana, and hovers at about eye level. "I'm Tear," she says in a very businesslike tone. For now, she was going along with this. Later on she'd find out what was really going on. She didn't want to look like one of those fairies, anyway.

Santana just stares at her, "You fly, lovely," She looks her up and down, "What the hell are you anyway?"

Meet your prefect, she's obviously the nicest person here.

Quite. "I'm a fairy. And a debt collector for--" who did she work for again? "I work in an item shop now."

[straightupzorra]

"A fairy, wonderful," and she thought she was the gayest person here, "Who works in a shop. You should talk to Recette, she'd love you."

[merde]

She looked surprised. "Recette is here?"

[catpaw]

And Nekoko comes barreling in. She heard the word 'fairy' from across the area and was instantly pinged. "Heeeeeey hey! Did someone say fairy? I heard someone say fa--" and then she sees that Tear is floating. Jaw on the floor. "Wow! So we're really here. Good to know, good to know...! So how's the grub and the weather around these parts, my fellow sidhe?! And what's up with all the humans around!"

America enthusiastically bounded over to where he was called. This entire situation was completely new to him, and he figured it would be nice to have some sort of a guide. Plus it may actually help him learn some new faces too! "Hey there, I'm America!" He said in a loud and energetic voice.

She sneers at him, "The fuck you are, you can be American but to be named America is just really retarded. You have to have another name so I can at least pretend that you're a sane person."

While he didn't look very put off by her attitude, his smile did shrink just a tad. And then it was back in full force, he's had to deal with worse people with even more horrindous attitudes after all. Nodding his head as yes and making his smile just a tad bit wider. "Yep! It's Alfred F. Jones!"

Oh god so much cheer, she felt an overwhelming need to put him in his place, wipe that grin off his face and make him feel inadequate. Challenge Accepted.

"Look, Jones, I don't care if actually are America, I mean it would kinda make sense if you were. It's the land of super sizes and you're not so tiny yourself. But being a fucking continent, I mean that in who you are not the fact you're fat, won't have any pull around here. I'm the prefect and you'll do what I say."

Is she really trying to tell the land and spirit of freedom to do as she says? She would be better off telling a tree to talk to a squirrel.

And those insults? "Haha! Of course I'm not fat kiddo!" Finally, someone who understands that he isn't overweight! If anything his smile gets even brighter and warmer thanks to her comments!

[Have a small child tugging at your sleeve] Miss. I am Kotaro. [He didn't know what was going on and he was starting to get scared.] Do you know where my brother is?

[she crosses his name off the list]

What's your brother's name?

[babysage]

Erm... [He didn't know why he couldn't remember it...] I don't know... but his family name is Mochizuki same as mine... and some people call him the Silver Blade, or Kin Killer.

[straightupzorra]

Nope, not here. He's probably back wherever you're from.

[babysage]

[Kotaro blinked at her, eyes quickly filling with tears] W...what do you mean? He has to be here, he wouldn't leave me!

When she hears her name, she walks forward with a grin, happly stomping her bare feet into snow as she walks, "I'm Cirno and this isn't THAT bad!"

Santana raises an eyebrow at her, "Oh yeah? Why do you think that?"

She paused for a moment, a mischievous smile crossing her face. She curls her toes into the snow instead of acting upon her impulse for the time being. "Because! Winter is the best time of year. Warm weather is so yucky."

At that, she sticks out her tongue and crosses her eyes a bit. She was happier out here in the cold then in the warmth of the train or anywhere else fore that matter.

Santana just shrugs a bit, "What ever you say Cirno," you can tell that she really doesn't care about what she thinks about the weather, "Can you at least fight or are you going to be useless to me?"

Cirno just smirks and crosses her arms, "Of course I cam fight. Gotta fight anyone you can to become and stay the strongest!"

Nephenee heard her name, and came over, "Uh...I'm Nephenee, ma'am."

Santana crosses her name off the list, "That's a dumb name."

Nephenee bit her lip, trying not to say anything mean back. That just wasn't her nature to.
"It is what it is." Nice first impression there, lady. And check out that accent, Santana. Holy crap she's southern. "So what do we do from here? And how'd we get here, anyways?"
