Calling for beta testers!

I've been working on a lovely little application for your PDAs. Are you tired of constantly checking the forums and networks to see if your friends won their fights? Want to check who your friend has vowed to, and if they've recently checked into the infirmary? There's an app for that!

Well, mostly. It's still a bit buggy, and doesn't have the fastest update time, but that's why I am seeking beta testers! I've decided to open six slots to players who are extremely active in the game. I need people who will use the program, and are willing to submit reports letting me know about crashes or other bugs that might come up.

Signing up will be first-come-first-served, with three slots open to each campus. The Beta is free, and upgrade to the official release will be at a 50% discount.

I should probably write up some kind of EULA, but let it be known if anything happens to your PDA because of the program, I am not accountable. I'm also not accountable for what's done with the information, but I reserve the right to revoke program access without refund if I determine the information is being misused. All in all, I don't think there should be problems with the first part at least.

Features:
 
Check status of residents (Player, vowed and with whom, discard)
Check battle history
Be informed real-time about starts of battles.
Option to have changes in a weapon's status, battle starts, and/or battle results sent as notifications to your PDA
Features to come in future updates:Lists of upgrades unlocked for each person
Linked partners, players with undead charms

((OOC: The program is going to have a bit of a lag, about 5 minutes between battle start and the actual notifications, and the same thing for the rest of the information. It'll crash every so often, especially during something like a tournament where there will be a lot of information changing. This will improve with time. When it comes out of Beta, the people who have it from this post will still have service for a round before they need to purchase the new release, though they get it at half off.))

[He sounds winded, but there is that typical commanding tone to his voice] Attention all students: A large creature has emerged from the arena tower. All students and staff capable of fighting are needed at the arena.

Players, you are not limited in the number of weapons you may wield. Make as many vows as you can. Draw the weapons and ensure they end up in the hands of those that can use it best. Those with swords and similar melee weapons assemble on the arena platform, and will attack in waves. All ranged weapons should take up positions in the stands. Noncombatants and those with healing or refreshing capabilities should remain in the entrances.

We must not let it leave the arena, for the sake of our friends that cannot defend themselves.

I will take command of the battle. If someone in Conquest considers themselves capable, they may step forward for their portion of the student body.

We have to come together, regardless of school or homeland affiliations and defeat this. It will bring us that much closer to returning to our homes. Following what I tell you is going to assure our victory. Let us show the people that have brought us here what our real power is.

[There's a new face peering through the mirror today with a plate of food before him and a fork dangling lazily between his fingers. By the look on his face, those somewhat dark rings beneath his eyes, Seto Kaiba didn't bother to sleep. He had been here for two days and for that entire period he had been observing, taking notes, and verbally abusing who ever tried to stop him. His adventure was cut short, however. He hadn't eaten and he hadn't slept: the paranoia and disturbia began to settle in and he put an end to his search. Just for today.]

I created video games a lot more interesting than this. What else would you call this 'player and weapon' nonsense? How many times do I have to tell you geeks not to involve me in your stupid games?

[He pushed about his feed. The guy should eat but, he was all the feels and too distracted.]

Let me take a wild guess, the only way we can go home is if we somehow manage to win. You poor fools, what would you do without me. I never lose. [Except to Yuugi but you all don't need to know that and there's a legitimately good reason why. He's starting to accept it.]

soooooooo apparently i'm a player this round.
i totally would've hung out after assembly to vow with some folks but i had some pressing business to attend to.
so i am looking for a weapon!
anybody i vow with gets full rights to do whatever and eat whatever.

Hello. My name is Sakuya Izayoi, and I arrived at the beginning of this round. After helping Mademoiselle Dahlia achieve victory, I thought the best way I could help my fellow students is by offering my services to any of our other players who have yet to win the round. I'm willing to participate in fights if you plan on engaging in duels, but I'll be upfront in saying that my form is that of a knife, so I only recommend those who feel comfortable wielding that sort of weapon in close combat reply. In any case, I am eager to hear your replies and lending a hand to help our school in achieving victory.

[A small breath, then he continues with a little more casual air.]

Hello there. My name is Dahlia Hawthorne, and I've once again been selected as a Player of Exaclan. However, I do so hate to fight. It's my hope to vow with six people by Wednesday -- and I've already become the "owner", though I hate to use the word, of a couple of weapons.

So if there's anybody else who is interested... I'll do my best to avoid using your weapons to do battle, and I promise to afford you every right you're currently lacking. Just, in return, all I ask is that you make a vow with me and become my weapon, if that isn't too much to ask.

In addition... I currently have enough money to purchase a memory charm, and I would love ever so much to be able to do so. However, according to the manual, one can only purchase them for other people, not for oneself. I know it's terribly rude of me, but if there's anyone who would be willing to make an exchange... A memory charm for a memory charm? I would very much appreciate it.

Um, hello! My name is Madoka Kaname and as of this round, I'm one of the Players from our school. I'm not the best fighter as it stands but I'm willing to learn more about whatever Weapon you might have if you do what to fight. If you're the sort that isn't interested, then I'll still be willing to make sure you get the rights you deserve.

More than anything, I just want to make sure everyone that is a Weapon this round has at least that much and protection.

If you're not interested, or already have someone you've vowed with then it's still nice to meet you if I haven't had the chance yet.
